Fake news is almost everywhere now on various social media platforms. Though it does not need keen observation skills to identify these kind of articles, we can not deny that many of us have been tricked by them in one way or another.

In this lecture, participants are taught of some methods on how to spot fake news to avoid being misinformed since they are most exposed on social media.

Lecture about Feature Writing.

Indeed, writing feature articles is somehow challenging since there are many ways to write them and it requires one's vast imagination. After the lecture, we were astonished how these kids came up with stunning feature articles.

Lecture about News Writing.

While other kids are bored at home, these kids are learning how to write news articles. After the lecture, they are given some writing tasks as reinforcements to what they have learned. Their outputs are corrected the next day. They are also given some feedback on how to improve their work and how to make better articles.

An entry of one of our participants for their PHOTOJOURNALISM class. Here, their works are being checked and corrected. It's just so amazing how these kids were able to come up with some photos worthy to be posted on kids news magazines although their entries were just taken inside their house since they are not allowed to go out because of the restrictions. 😍🥰
