This picture is a true depiction of everyday life. I was there when this picture was taken. Someone was there before and someone will be there after…someone is there now.
This is not about a ‘Township aesthetic’ for music videos and gallery openings, it’s not about perfect angles and good lighting. It is meant to depict real places, people in real situations, we are capturing real time and framing it.
First hand township experiences while using photographic and videographic mediums to paint a vivid enough picture. These are our ways of living.
Cold nights, gas stoves, plastic lavatories. That does not sum up the whole but it sheds light on the parts.

Finally dropping new music.
Short but long story, I suffer from depression, so songs and music are cathartic for me.
Earlier on I shared this post on my stories because I resonated with it, and a few minutes later I got a call from my friend Tokoloho cause well, he’s dope and he checks up on me.
A few minutes later I decided to write a song called ‘Drowning’ that speaks to what I’m going through cause sometimes music forces you to confront what you are really going though.
