Starting our trail walk. President Steve giving an informative talk about the Perkiomen Railroad
In 1938 the Perkiomen Railroad was featured in an Orson Welles style radio broadcast. Happy Halloween to all our friends, members and supporters.
Four years ago this weekend. Were you there?
This is a picture of a picture that a guy brought to show us at one of our talks. We didn't get a chance to talk to him to long. But he said it's from the Perkiomen. I'm not sure if or where on the Perkiomen it would have been. Any thoughts?
Our group is planning an informal walk/talk on the Perk Trail Nov 4th. Is there an interest in joining us?
ADDITIONAL INFO: We will be meeting at Crusher Road Trailhead (Green Lane) at 1:00 pm. The walk will be approximately 2 hours.

It's amazing what you can find on a table full of free books and paintings. A nice print of Collegeville Station by Ranulph Bye. Trivia... on the front of the station near the blue and white Collegeville sign was a smaller blue and white sign with "CV" on it. Does anyone know what that smaller sign meant?
