Hello! I just wanted to share a little something with you. Yesterday a little family came by and had some lunch and a little play & when it came to pay the lady said “I spoke to you a year ago, when I first had my baby, you were so lovely and kind and invited me along to mumma meet (I’ve yet to come along) and we finally got to come and meet you and visit the cafe!” this comment stuck with me the whole day that I had made this new Mumma feel so welcome that it made her day and that a whole year later she came along to the cafe! The most amazing bit is that her coming in and telling me about that had done a full circle and then totally made my day! Sometimes just the smallest acts of kindness is all it takes.. May half term… Tuesday and Thursday you can paint your own Father’s Day gifts at Witts end! We have pen pots, mugs and coasters to paint and decorate in your own design then will collect glaze, fire them and return them in time for Father’s Day! *limited supplies apply*

May pottery workshop is now live to book! The wonderful chisel pottery are joining us on Saturday 27th May 4pm for a slab clay pottery class where you can create your very own oil burner! This workshop includes all tuition, materials, firing & glazing and your masterpiece will then be returned to you to take home! Grab your friends and come for an afternoon of giggles and creativity

What’s on next week… on the lead up to Easter we have creation station kicking off with their Easter crafts morning. Pop along to our DIY pottery painting on Tuesday and Thursday. Exciting news that Scooter the therapy dog will be with us Friday 3rd February for 10am storytime! We will have the great opportunity to listen to scooters book and hear how he managed to find his forever home! You really won’t want to miss this FREE pop up! I met Nicola 6 years ago, after having my second baby Toby! I was seriously overweight, comfort eating and riddled with anxiety! I barely left the house, I could only leave knowing I was either meeting someone at the other end or someone was coming with me. I’d drop my eldest to school and then be counting the hours until it was time to collect him again and it was harrowing! I tried one of Nicolas classes and took Toby along with me and it was a godsend.. getting back to exercise whilst talking about how lonely motherhood can be sometimes. Nicola will be with us Monday 16th Jan at 11.30am discussing everything from the importance of keeping that pelvic floor sturdy to chats about postnatal thoughts & feelings 🧠 Please come along and pass it on to anyone you feel may benefit from a cuppa and chat #2023
