WE MADE IT!!!!
We have officially landed in Jackson and are settled in to prepare for the festivities tomorrow!!
We are on the way to Jackson!!!
We left early this morning to start our trip to nationals, but we had to make a stop in Charlotte to pick up something very special. I want to extend a huge THANK YOU to Kimberly Pixton of Pixton Design Group for designing my gorgeous fitness outfit. I cannot wait to model it on the Carl Perkins Civic Center stage on Friday!!!
My second stop of the day was to pick up some gorgeous earrings!!
Not only did Mrs. Marie Rudolf provide me with the two fabulous pairs pictured, she also designed me a custom pair to match my evening gown. I excluded the evening gown earrings from this post to maintain my gown as a total surprise, but let me just tell you, THEY ARE PERFECT!!! I am so blessed to have such wonderful sponsors!!!
I made a couple of very important stops today in order to get ready to leave tomorrow for Miss Teen Volunteer America!!!
The first stop of the day was with at their Clayton Studio!! I had a great spray tan session with Eliza which will have me glowing on stage!! Mrs. Aleitha and her whole team have been so generous and helpful in my preparations for this week!!!
Had the best afternoon yesterday celebrating with my closest friends, family, and some of our sponsors as I prepare to head off to Jackson!!!
My wardrobe showing for Miss Teen Volunteer America was an incredible experience and I have never felt so loved or supported. Thank you to everyone who came and showed their support and also to those who have helped me to prepare but could not make it in person.
I need to extend the most thanks, however, to Becky, Andi, and Alex Creech, as well as the Tews who helped to set up. Thank you all for making yesterday perfect!!! The Creeches have been my supporters from day one and I am so thankful to know them and so honored that they made yesterday absolutely wonderful!!
With my send off done, it’s just a few more stops and we are off to Jackson tomorrow!!!
I was so excited to make a special trip this evening to support two of our Volunteer Princesses!!!! 🌹📚👑
My Volunteer Princess, Cate, and her younger sister, Ellie, were in a production of Beauty and The Beast Jr. at their school tonight and I got to surprise them!!! These girls and their family have shown me so much love and support as I have prepared for Jackson and I am so glad that I was able to also support them!!! Through the Miss North Carolina Volunteer Organization, I have truly met some of the best people.
Yesterday I got to leap into March with a new project at Burgaw Middle School!!!!
For a long time I have wanted to implement a school garden at Burgaw as a part of my platform, Plant The Seed. Yesterday we had a meeting and determined when I can come in a start getting everything ready!!! Cannot wait to work with the kids that are part of the Communities In Schools after school program and teach them about growing their own food!!!

💖💖The Fabulous Class of 2024💖💖
So excited to be a part of this wonderful group!!! All of these girls are so incredible and truly embody the spirit of the Miss Teen Volunteer America Program. We will all be arriving in Jackson, Tn in just under 2 weeks!!
As y’all likely know, the “S” in the SERVE acronym stands for scholarship. While the scholarship opportunities with the Miss North Carolina Teen Volunteer title are incredible, I also have a scholarship with the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. Tonight I had a video chat with some of the other young scholars in my cohort with JKCF and I was so excited to get to share some info about my title and platform. This program has provided me with so many unique opportunities I never would have imagined other wise. I’ve included some pictures from the two programs I’ve been able to travel to through my scholarship. The first program was at Northwestern University in Illinois the summer of 2022 for their Civic Leadership Institute and last summer I got to attend Brown University for the Summer@brown program!!
Had such a great session today with the incredibly talented Megan Lewis!! She is a broadway alumni and did a fantastic job helping me on blocking and character choices for my talent!!!
Even though I am a singer, as someone in musical theatre, my intent behind my vocals is just as important as my voice itself. Thank you so much Megan for all of your help!! I am so ready to compete this piece at night one of the preliminaries for Miss Teen Volunteer America!!!!
Had the BEST makeup lesson today with
So thankful to have this lovely lady as a sponsor!! Mrs. Jamye has taught me everything I need to know to do my own makeup for the Miss Teen Volunteer America Pageant in just a few weeks!!
I had such a great time getting to spend my Saturday morning volunteering at the Pender County Division A Science Olympiad competition!! 🧬🧫🔬🧪👩🏻🔬
I have competed in Science Olympiad since I was in elementary school and had so much fun getting to volunteer with the younger kids events today!! STEM education is so important, especially for younger kids and I am so glad that NCSO provides the opportunity to study such interesting and unique topics throughout all of their events. Congratulations to all of our awesome students and remember to think like a proton, always stay positive!!!
We are 3 weeks out from the crowning of Miss Teen Volunteer America 2024!!!!
I was so excited when I got this gorgeous contestant profile in my email from the folks at 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Today’s Friday Fast Fact!!!
DID YOU KNOW...
in 2023 North Carolina had about 65,175 students enrolled in the 26 different agriculture based courses? To teach this variety of courses, there are about 601 agriculture teachers across the state.
My platform, Plant The Seed is all about agriculture education and inspiring our youth to take an interest in where their food comes from!! This information about agriculture is courtesy of the North Carolina FFA which I am proud to be a part of through my school’s chapter!!
Happy Valentine’s Day!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Keeping today’s post sweet and simple, but wishing all the best to those who have showed so much kindness and love!!!

missncteenvol As a state title holder with the Miss Teen Volunteer America Organization, I’ve had the opportunity to become a member of the St. Jude’s Leadership Society. I will have more details on my fundraising project soon, but in the meantime, I encourage everyone to participate in their Valentines Card Writing Campaign!!! Using the link below you can select one of the patient designed cards to send to the children currently in care at their facility.
I got to spend an exciting morning at the North Carolina School of Science and Math to complete the final step in my application process!!
For the last several months I have been in the process of applying to the NCSSM Residential program for my 11th and 12th grade years in high school. Today I got to go on campus and take the math test which is part of the admission process. I had such a great time and cannot wait to hear about final decisions soon!!
Go unicorns!! 🦄🦄🦄
While I was making some strawberry cookies for a Valentine’s Day party, I had an idea for today’s Friday agriculture fact!! 🍓🍓🍓
Did you know that North Carolina is the 4th largest strawberry producing state? This is due in large part to small roadside u-pick strawberry fields which can be found in all 100 counties!!
Happy Friday Eve!!!

I am so glad to finally be posting my official competition headshot!!!!! As of today, we are officially one month away from the first night of preliminary competition for the Miss Teen Volunteer America Pageant!!!!!
Sort of posting this as a follow up from yesterday, but in addition to providing me with a gorgeous tan, also provided me with everything I might need to take care of my tan!!
Make sure if you are in the Raleigh or Clayton areas and in need of a glowing tan for any special event, to check out Mrs. Alietha’s work!!!
So glad that I finally got to make a trip to Raleigh to visit Mrs. Alietha with ☀️☀️☀️
That was my very first spray tan and our lovely Miss North Carolina Volunteer sponsor, Avalon Sunless Beauty, made it such an incredible experience!!! I will definitely post some results of how fabulous it turned out very soon!! I’ll be back in about a month for another session right before nationals!!!!
