Just to let everyone know, we are still working on music and have a new identity as a band. Can’t wait to share the new stuff with the world!
At about 5:30am on 02/21/21 Dee (Butch) Ramey Jr. passed away from a heart attack at the age of 54. This band has suffered immeasurable loss of not only our founder and Guitar player, but a great father and friend. He will always be remembered by me (His son Gary) but also his family and friends. We’ve canceled our up coming shows and have officially disbanded this project, we will not stop making music but it will be under a different name (TBA) RIP Dad

To our fan base and people that follow our Band. I need to make this statement and mean no malice towards any one or band or genre of music because unity within the music community and
musical diversity is important for all the fans regardless of genre. I have been very perplexed on our inability and the inability for the other Hard Rock and Metal acts in Enid to get regular monthly bookings in Enid's club scene which is primarily country even though there are a lot Rockers and Metal heads in this town, just as many as the country fans in this town. If you want to see Hard Rock and Metal Bands performing in Enid and not having to commute to OKC, Tulsa or Wichita to see us live then it is up to you, our fans to ask the managers of the Bars and venues in this town to book hard Rock or Metal and maybe they might realize that there is a need to book a more diverse selection of bands instead of staying in there little country safe zone and I hate to say this but most people frequent bars to drink because of the specials and not to see a certain genre of music and are just happy that there is entertainment. We need to change this mentality because I'm sure that if the Bar owners knew that the people had a preference on the type entertainment they wanted and booked accordingly they would be more successful and sale more alcohol. I'm out and peace out everyone and Metal for ever.
Lyric Ideas
Song Title: Revolutions Fire
Political Propaganda divides the classes
Causing chaos to destroy the masses
Freedom and truth impowers and inspires
F**k the Government, Revolutions Fire
For the better good the communist cry
Full control of our personal lives
Freedom of choice perpetuates the wise
Without wisdom we're doomed, Revolutions Fire.
Our next opening act, they are amazingly tight
The Man that inspired so many Guitarist like my self that revolutionized a new tone with the hotrodding of the PAF pickup and right hand tapping technics that had been used before but not at the extent that he did that gave him the signature Van Halen sound. Very few guitarist in history had such a profound affect on music and musicians that Eddy did which made him a Icon. Rest in peace Eddy Van Halen, you will be missed. Here is one of my favorite songs from my favorite Album when I felt he was in his prime creatively.

Music has been around as long as man has existed. If you think about it, it is our original Entertainment. We have used it to lift the spirits of our families and friends and also used it to worship our Gods. To be a musician it is Implied to share it with our fellow man and to rejoice in life and to share whats in our heart and soul to lift our spirits in the celebration of life. Our ability to create music from our hearts is a God given gift and we should be sharing it with the world.
Sincerely. Butch Ramey
On the 21st of July Fatal Oppression lost our 5th member of the band, my wife of 30 years Kathy to Cancer. She put up with having our Garage as band central for over a year and gave me many years of Inspiration for my music, she always supported my music and the band, she cooked for us and made sure we had cookies and treats for our practices and put up with House shaking Metal three night's a week. When she was diagnosed with cancer in January and they told her that her cancer had come out of remission from her bout with cancer in 2005 it was devastating, I told her I was going to disband the band and she told me not to by any means that I was happier than I had been in years and was more like I was when she met me and fell in love with me. So we will continue as a premier original Metal Band and get threw this devastating loss and hope to see our fans in a future show. Thank you all for your support and will see you soon live.

This is so True, my fellow Metal Heads
To all of our fans and fellow musicians with bands here in Enid. The lockdown for bars and entertainment has been extended to June 1st. This is unexceptible, another month of no income for our local venues will most definitely put a lot of them out of business, there is no difference between being surrounded by hundreds of people at Lowe's or Walmart and being at a bar or concert. We need to come together and blow up the phones and websites of our local and state politicians to stop this. These businesses may not employ a huge amount of people but they still employ people in this town and are just as essential as any other small business.
Fatal Oppression
Very True, by the end of all of this we should all be at the next level. "I Can't Wait"!!!!!!!!
Are you improving your music skills during this whole quarantine?? 🤔❤️🎶🎶🎶🎶
So true!!
So true...... 👍😎❤️🎶🎶🎶🎶
To all the Bands in Enid when this is all over we should promote a festival to let the community know that where still here to entertain them.
Sounds like solid advice..... 😉🎶🎶🎶🎶
