We are so proud of IDANC athlete Lorissa Zhou for how she competed at the Margaret Faulkner Springtime Invitational, and her debut into the world of competitive ice dancing. Her skating and dancing have come such a long way since beginning training with the IDANC team, especially with such limited training hours each week. We’ve also been impressed with how much she’s learned about the history and significance to the cultures we often borrow from in our sport.

Your generous donations also helped to make this series possible 🙏 One of our favorite things about the workshops and classes we’ve had so far has been seeing all the motivated dancers/athletes from various backgrounds, both on and off the ice, coming together and pushing each other as we learn new ways to move! 💙
