✨Mindful Monday✨
Self-love is one of the hardest, yet most important, types of love. Practicing self-love allows you to not only show up for yourself, but allows you to show up as the most genuine version of you to others.
Despite this, we often are our own worst critics, only speak positive towards ourselves when we “achieve” something, or fill our cup with external vices instead of internal, unconditional love.
This past week, I have spent time with the most amazing women who form . Each one of us beautifully unique. Each one of us showing up for each other authentically. Allowing vulnerability to transpire and true transformation occur.
To help you along your self-love journey, here are some mindfulness practices:
1. Learn your “Type”: take a personality or similar type quiz (Myers Briggs, enneagram, numerology, birth chart, etc.) so you can learn more about yourself. This may open up areas of compassion and understanding for yourself.
2. Write a Love Letter. Instead of writing someone else a love letter, write one to yourself about all the areas you have appreciation, adoration, and pride in yourself.
3. Practice Inner Child: Find some guided meditations on nourishing and loving your inner child at all stages of your life (more to come on this later)
4. Take Yourself on Dates: Discover what you like to do and do it! You may find you are your own best company!
