This book is definitely my favourite from the series. A pierced, morally grey man with an even bigger heart.

Dax hasn’t had it easy the last few years and doesn’t like to let love in. Until her...

Rose has dealt with so much grief and loss that she doesn’t really know how to snap out of it, which resulted in her family calling in a favour, and she’s sent to jolly old England.

The chemistry between these two was so beautiful and fierce.

Of course, there are some bumps for them to overcome, and Dax finds himself grovelling hard.

They helped one another fight the demons away, and we saw them embrace so much together.

Dax is a really sweetheart at times, arranging special things for Rose after listening to her memories.

There were certainly some oh s*** moments in there that added another layer of enjoyability.

This is a must-read.

Audio review

Another amazing book from Elle Nicoll. Rachel is the best FMC ever, I love how strong she is and how she is so independent, but the way Tanner snuck past all of her walls 🥰. Tanner plays the long game in this one! he knows Rachel has a lot of different reasons to be wary of a relationship, but he is there for her when she needs him, and eventually, she lets him in, and the results are 🔥🔥.

These books are all so good, I couldn't recommend them enough all the feels, all the spoce and really good plot and oh how I cried about Nigel (IYKYK) 😭.

Men written by Elle should come with a warning label. Charming, intelligent, funny and also a billionaire. Who could resist Logan? This book should be called Running to Mr. Rich instead.

As the owner of the country’s largest luxury engine design company, the Riches led an extravagant and glamorous lifestyle. However, a poor investment decision Logan’s father made cost them everything. Logan’s bio-fuel engine was the only hope to turn the business around, so he set off on a month-long business trip to Italy to get funding for his project.

As much as Maddy enjoyed writing literary columns, she aspired to do full length feature pieces. When a career-changing opportunity arose, she could not turn it down even if it meant spending time with Logan, her brother’s best friend and also the person she hated with every fibre of her being.

The trip was a test of patience and restraint, and also a chance for them to get to know each other on a deeper level. They went from bickering, flirting to opening up about their fears and dreams. Maddy saw the different facets of Logan and realised there was more to his joker facade. Day by day, hatred turned into like and like grew into love.

I loved how honest and transparent Logan was about his feelings towards Maddy. He did not shy away from making it known. He went from protective to downright possessive. The things he said and did left me panting, swooning and melting like a puddle on the floor. On the other hand, Maddy really drove me up the wall with her stubbornness. She was definitely a tough nut to crack. She struggled to let Logan in because she was still hurt from past events (that was actually a misunderstanding). Once she moved on from the guilt, she allowed herself to love and be loved.

Characters from previous books making an appearance always brought a smile to my face, especially the trio Tanner, Dax and Drew. Drew was the last man standing and I very much look forward to seeing him find his happily ever after.

At this point in my reading I have cultivated my list of favorite, one click authors and is 100% within the top of that list! She always ensures to include all of the moments that you go feral for when reading whichever tropes she chooses to highlight, however she does it in such a different way and her books always just feel so special to her style. Book 8 in The Men series is no different…

Resisting Mr. Rich is an enemies to lovers but I truly don’t think I have read a Hate to Love story unless we are talking about Dark Academia and Bully, but leave it to Elle to showcase this in a contemporary, Billionaire Romance. Maddy has her reasons for despising Logan Rich and you find out why pretty early on. Will this make you hate Logan? Absolutely not! Logan Rich is the most caring and compassionate MMC who doesn’t understand the hate that Maddy has for him. He always let it go having his reasons for sticking around (he her brother’s best friend) and he grew to enjoy playing jokes and annoying her.

Fast forward to adulthood and they are both still playing their roles of “disliking” each other (Maddy more so than Logan) until they are forced to spend a month together in Italy. The more time the spend together, the more they begin to understand each others pasts which brings about a new wave of understanding and LUST! OMG!!!!! When the enemies to lovers snaps and its HATE “relations” it is HOT!!!!!!! Logan’s mouth and their banter was top tier amazing and it just enraptured you in their story. Seeing how they could get past all that was in the past and all that was up against them in the future…..her brother, his arranged marriage, Maddy’s hate ... .it truly made for a well developed journey that you didn’t want to stop reading.

This is a well fought HEA and Elle truly did a phenomenal job with the development of these two characters.

This is the best 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 I’ve read in a LONG time! The tension, the angst, the banter!!! It was all freaking fantastic. Maddy hates Logan because of a past situation involving her brother and well Logan doesn’t really hate Maddy at all but he loves to play along.

I just love the hateful banter in an enemies to lovers and allll the heat and sexual tension leading up to THAT moment. And Elle delivered! That moment was written so well and was so hot! I could feel the hate seeping through these characters. But as they let their guards down and allowed themselves to feel—Logan way faster than Maddy, it was so sweet.

Logan went from hate to love really fast and became so obsessed with Maddy and it was the sweetest thing ever! I absolutely loved it!!

Elle is the queen and all her men are phenomenal but Logan has a special place in my heart! Loved him so much!!!

I love this series by Elle and Mr Rich was the perfect addition. This is a brother’s best friend, forced proximity romance with a huge emphasis on enemies to lovers. Maddox has a serious hatred for Logan and it is slowly revealed why she feels this way. Logan has to work extra hard to get into Maddox’s heart but when there is a thin line between love and hate, it doesn’t take long before Maddox starts to fall for Logan.

I really enjoyed the storyline for this book. There were a lot of different plot points going on that flowed nicely and kept the story really interesting. There was so much angst and I am such a lover of all the angst. My heart hurt for Logan and everything he was going through. Logan fell so hard for his best friends sister and he didn’t even care. I love that he wanted to make them a thing. When they were together, they brought so much banter and heat. Hearing Mads saying “I hate you” was actually pretty hot with the way they interacted.

One of my favorite parts was getting to see Tanner again because he is still my favorite after all these books. It was another amazing book from Elle and she always leaves me excited for the next book.
