Only $15,000 of your money was spent on recreation:
• $4,000 was used for assistance with kid’s swimming, dance, basketball, football, etc...
• $3,000 was used for seated board members’ family members’ recreational activities
• $4,500 was used for Vilas Days food (only a few hours, once a year)
• $3,500 was used for Vilas Days t-shirts (only a few hours, once a year)
Records indicate $75,000 was spent to maintain your building that was only rented 45 times in 7 years, resulting in a $1,667 cost per use to you, to maintain your building:
• $15,000 building maintenance
• $17,000 insurance
• $35,000 utilities
• $8,000 on administrative expenses
$27,500 in compensation to seated board members, seated board family members, and seated board members’ businesses:
• $1,500 for Christmas parties for the board of directors
• $17,000 for contract bookkeeping and maintenance
• $6,000 to businesses owned by seated board members or their families
• $3,000 for seated board members’ family members’ recreation (as stated above)
