Introducingggg Mr. & Mrs.Geter ❤️😉

If you’ve asked me about the wedding you’d know my first response is “I could do the day a thousand times over again”….not the planning lol but the day. To be able to commit to our Union in front of God, our family and friends was a blessing. And it helps that we had our dream wedding 😉There are so many people I have to thank, first off my parents and my sister, they made everyday leading up until the day and the wedding day the best for us both. Reggie’s family, now my family 🤗, thank you! ❤️ Our extended families, and our friends, thank y’all. We’ve been showered with nothing but love and support, and we thank you on behalf of the Geters! ❤️

Now I have to talk about THE DREAM TEAM who made this day amazing!

Wedding coordinator- Latrice was the BOMB! And I can’t thank her enough for making this process as smooth as possible. ❤️❤️
Event decor- Mrs.Mary is a dream, so sweet and SO TALENTED! Look at the decor! 👏🏽
DJ- of kept the day on point from the ceremony to the reception 🎶
Photographer/Videographer- and his team, not much I have to say here, look at the material lol I wouldn’t dream of anyone else capturing our special day 📷
Caterer-Heart’s Restaurant Chicken and waffles…mmmm that’s all we wanted for the day and they made it happen lol 🧇
the most beautiful location for an outside wedding and they helped to make the day as beautiful as possible.
Makeup- my girl gave me the nose beautiful natural look and worked with me to make me feel comfortable collaborating on my wedding look 💄
Hair- cause look AT THE UPDO!! ❤️ Darryel is amazing, just check out her page!

Dress- helped me find my dream dress designed by
Reggie, our dads, Greg’s suits- L.A. Fashions in Woodruff with James Fowler! Look at how fly they look 😎
Pastor Durham for helping guide us along the way through our premarital
counseling sessions and marrying us on our big day. I one hundred percent recommend EVERY newlywed couple do premarital.

Earlier this week I had the privilege to attend my first work conference! ✅ I am refreshed and filled with new ideas after attending ’s Social Media Week. There were so many great individuals that gave valuable marketing insight.

My 🔑 takeaways:
-All content should be: insight led, culture forward and performance focused
-Creators unlock and drive culture, work with them and create genuine and longterm relationships
-Consumers don’t want to feel chased by brands, but rather invited
-Stay true to your brand's reason for being, but never stop evolving your strategies to reach your customers (*cough cough* maybe through the metaverse)

I’m grateful I work at a company that values continuous growth in their employees.

A lot of times working in media requires you to hustle, whether that’s working several jobs at a time or working one full time job and doing your media job on the side until you get that first full time break or become a successful freelancer. So I had been working at Boys & Girls Club for the past year. I actually just stopped working there recently after I got a new job. Working with kids is fun and that job taught me so much, creativity, patience and the appreciation for all the teachers out there lol. I always wanted to influence the kids to be their best selves and remind them they can do anything they set their minds to. I also got to coach basketball too 😭 a lowkey career idea of mine I got to live out with them. What’s so cool and coincidental about my most recent partnership with Forever 21 is that right now for every purchase from the Forever 21 holiday collection, they will donate $1 to Boys and Girls Club of America! So when you shop with them you can help an organization that helps kids be their best selves!
