DON’T RUSH YOUR PRAYING
(The Importance Of Praying Without Giving Up)
📖TO THE BIBLE: Luke 18:1 AMPC“…[Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).”
LET’S TALK⏩
Someone once said, “I have so much to do in very little time; it leaves me with very little time to pray. So, in the mornings, I pray for only five minutes because I always have a busy day.” That’s a big mistake. Never skip or reduce your times of fellowship with the Lord for other things you might consider “important.” The wisdom, guidance, and strength you need for success come from the Lord. Always remember that.
When you have so much to do, that’s when you need to pray. In fact, you’ll need to pray more at such times because you require spiritual help to achieve results in a shorter time and in the best way. Instead of feeling too busy to pray, a wise person will say, “I have so much work to do that I’ll need to give more time to prayer.” You receive a boost in your energy and inspiration, which will give you speed.
Jesus said men ought always to pray and not to give up (Luke 18:1), letting us know that we were made to pray. It’s something God built within the human system. In other words, there’ll always be the need for that spiritual fellowship with God.
Through such fellowship, we can be built, encouraged, and directed—we also obtain the Lord’s mercy, grace, and intervention in our circumstances. Not only should you desire to pray, you should pray always. We don’t pray just because we require a miracle; we pray because we’re in a loving relationship with a real, loving heavenly Father.

Dear Father, thank you for the privilege and blessings of prayer. Thank you for the opportunity to fellowship with you, loving and gracious Father! *THE CORE OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH*
_Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory_ *(Colossians 1:26-27)*
Christianity, in its essence, can be encapsulated in our underlined words in the opening scripture: Christ in You. The revelation that Christ resides within you forms the core of the Christian Faith.
This divine union and interconnectedness between us and God is described by the Lord Jesus in His prayer to the Father in John 17:23. He said, *"I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me."*
It also brings to mind what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:19: *“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”* Think about that; God was in Christ, and now Christ is in you; that means God is in you. This is amazing.
Furthermore, the Bible says, *“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”* (Romans 3:23). The glory of God being referred to here is the presence of God. Man lived in God, in His presence; God's presence was his light. That connection, that relationship was the glory. Then because of sin, man was cut off from that glory.
But today, in Christ Jesus, that glory that was lost in Romans 3:23 has been regained according to Colossians 1:27. The beautiful thing is, that presence is not just around you; it’s in you now. It's not just a voice walking in the Garden as in the Book of Genesis; that voice is now in you.
Now we can rejoice because it’s not Christ around you, amongst you, or with you, but Christ in you! When you received Christ, the glory came into your life. Your life is severed from shame, reproach, sickness, disease, failure and poverty because Christ is in you. Hallelujah!
*CONFESSION*
_Christ in me, the hope of glory! Therefore, glory, wholeness, health, preservation and prosperity are guaranteed in my life because Christ has come to live in the very quarters of my heart, making every fibre of my being, every bone of my body and every cell of my blood inundated with his presence. Hallelujah!_

My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, the living tabernacle of God. Sickness has no place in or around me. No plague can come near my household.
I was born for the glory of God and my life is gloriied by His Word. Sickness, disease, infirmity, and failure have no place in me because as He is, so am I in this world.

*A DIVINE RELATIONSHIP*
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).
While there may be some religious activities or practices in Christianity, Christianity fundamentally distinguishes itself as a relationship rather than a religion. To grasp the distinction, consider the relationship between a child and his or her parents. This familial connection is not defined by religious adherence but is deeply rooted in a personal, intimate relationship.
In Christianity that is what Jesus came to do; He came to bring us into a relationship with God beyond religion. Before Jesus came, various religions existed but Jesus brought something different: a relationship with God!
No wonder when Jesus referred to God as "Father," it left the Jews astonished. They wondered, "How could anyone call God Father?" Well, Jesus called God His Father because He had a relationship with Him. It was a Father-and-Son relationship.
Addressing God as a Father was unfamiliar and perplexing to the Jews. In John 10:30, Jesus said, "I and my Father are one," stressing the essence of this divine relationship. He had the same life with God. John 1:14 tells us He was God in the flesh.
The Jews couldn’t take it. In fact, when He dared to go further and explain that relationship, they sought to kill Him. But thanks be unto God; through His death, burial and resurrection, we’ve been brought into the same oneness with God. We’ve been brought into a divine relationship with the Father!
Now we can call God our heavenly Father; you don’t find that in any religion. 1 John 3:1 says, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God….” Then in Galatians 4:6, the Bible says, “…because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” Hallelujah!
PRAYER / CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for my oneness with you through Jesus Christ. Christ is alive in me! I’m not ordinary, for I’ve been called into the fellowship of the God-kind. Every day, I manifest the resplendent life of Christ, exercising dominion over sickness, disease, failure, lack and everything that’s of the devil! Hallelujah!

*THE UNVEILER OF DIVINE MYSTERIES*
*_That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him (Ephesians 1:17)._*
Our theme verse is a profound prayer of the Spirit that highlights the indispensable role of the Holy Spirit in unveiling the mysteries of God to us. He’s the unveiler of divine mysteries and secrets. Only through Him can we truly know God and know things pertaining to the Kingdom.
*1 Corinthians 2:11-12 provides some more clarity into this. There, the Bible says, “...the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”*
How does the Holy Spirit enable you to know the things of the Kingdom of God? It is by introducing them to your spirit. Your brain or mind can’t comprehend them. But the Holy Spirit, in fellowship and contact with your spirit, grants you wisdom for revelation to know God and the secrets of the Kingdom.
_Moreover, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth who guides you into all truth: “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13)._
Earlier in John 14:26, the Lord Jesus, speaking of the same Holy Spirit said, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
*The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of knowledge; He’s the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge. With Him, you can never walk in darkness or be confused about anything in life. Remember, He made all things. If you’d recognise and take advantage of His ministry in your life, you’ll be an oasis of knowledge and a fountain of solutions in a dark, needy, and ignorant world.*
*PRAYER*
Dear Father, I’m grateful for the privilege of fellowship with the Holy Spirit who continually unveils the mysteries of the Kingdom to me. My path is illuminated to know and walk in my heritage in Christ, enjoying unending success, victories, fruitfulness, productivity, beauty and joy in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

*WHY SPRINKLE WATER?*
(Your Heart Has Been Sprinkled Clean Already)
TO THE BIBLE
Hebrews 10:22 ESV
“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
Looking at our opening verse, it would seem like we’re supposed to draw near to God, have our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and then have our bodies washed with pure water. But hold on, who’s supposed to do this sprinkling? Some other folks out there are splashing or sprinkling some water on people, claiming it’s the blood of Jesus. But that’s completely wrong!
Nobody can sprinkle the blood of Jesus today. So, don’t even try doing so. The Bible doesn’t say, “having our bodies sprinkled”; rather, it says our hearts. That means it’s the sprinkling of the heart, and what our opening verse is saying is that your heart has already been sprinkled from an evil conscience. It’s not an ongoing process; it’s been done by the Holy Spirit already!
Some other translations, like the Rotherham’s, put it more clearly. It says, “Let us approach with a genuine heart, in full assurance of faith, having been sprinkled, as to our hearts, from an evil conscience, and bathed, as to our bodies, with pure water.” Hallelujah! If you don’t understand this, you’ll be trying to do what God has already done, and it won’t work.
When it says, “…Our bodies washed with pure water,” it’s close to what we have in 1 Corinthians 6:11 ESV: “And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” Hallelujah! When you were born again, you were baptised into Christ (that is, the baptism of the Holy Spirit); the Holy Spirit came upon you to live in you.
His purpose in coming upon you was to make your body His temple, the tabernacle where He now dwells. But first, He must wash that temple; He must purify and sanctify it. That’s His work, and at the New Birth, He sanctified your body and made it His home. He has made your heart His home! Glory to God!

*JESUS IS THE CHRIST*
But what about you? he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Peter answered, "You are the Christ" (Mark 8:29 NIV).
In Acts 17:1-3, Luke explained how Paul and his companions journeyed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, eventually reaching Thessalonica. There, they entered a synagogue, and for three consecutive Sabbaths, Paul engaged in discussions with the Jews.
With copious scriptural inferences, he presented a compelling case, setting forth and proving that it was necessary for Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead. But here’s the most beautiful assertion Paul made. He told them that Jesus, whom he proclaimed and preached unto them, was indeed the Christ.
That was His message —that Jesus is the Christ! This is too important; never underestimate the power of this truth. Jesus is Christ, the Son of God. If you would believe that, all the blessings in Christ will be yours because that is what He said.
However, to believe that Jesus is the Christ, you must first believe that Jesus came in a physical body. In 1 John 4, the Apostle John in his writings warned against false teachers, having encountered some who came up with a strange doctrine, denying the reality that Jesus came in the flesh.
Therefore, He emphasized that Christians should test the spirits to determine whether they are from God. But here’s a key criterion: "Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God" (1 John 4:2).
In the verses above, the translators erroneously assumed “Jesus Christ” should be used instead of the actual original rendering, which is “Jesus as the Christ.” The New English Translation got it right; it says, "By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses JESUS AS THE CHRIST who has come in the flesh is from God."
Every spirit that confesses Jesus as the Christ who has
come in flesh is from God. So, Jesus as the Christ came in the flesh, in the physical body. And we know that His body died —He was crucified, buried but gloriously resurrected. This is important for salvation. Praise God.
PRAYER
Blessed Lord Jesus, you’re the Christ who came in the flesh, died, was buried and resurrected to usher us into a life of righteousness, victory, excellence and glory. You’re the complete embodiment of Deity. I worship and thank you for revealing yourself through your Church. Your glory is everlasting. Amen.

*HE’S SAVIOUR OF ALL MANKIND*
(His Death Brought
Salvation For All People)
📖TO THE BIBLE
Luke 2:11 NIV
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.”
LET’S TALK
Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world. This is one of the tenets of our faith upon which all of the Gospel rests. That’s why the verse above is very important. In Matthew 1:21, the Bible says, “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
Jesus Christ is the only One who could save mankind completely and make the divine life available and possible for all men to receive. He saved the world by giving Himself as a sacrifice. He paid the full penalty for the sins of all men and took our place of condemnation. The Bible says, “…God was
reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them…”
(2 Corinthians 5:19 NIV).
2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his povertymight be rich.” His vicarious death was for our sake.
2 Corinthians 5:21 says,
“For He made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might become the
righteousness of God in Him.”
When Jesus was put on the cross, He was taking our place on the Cross. God had said, “The soul who sins shall die (spiritualdeath)…” (Ezekiel 18:20). Romans 5:12 says, Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way, death came to all men, because all sinned.” Spiritual death is separation from God. Jesus took our place and experienced that separation from the Father when He hung on the Cross.
But thanks be to God! Man’s salvation was consummated when Jesus Christ—the Lamb of God—was offered to take away the sins of the world (John 1:29). 1 John 4:14 says, “And we
have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.” Hallelujah!

*HE REACHES THE WORLD OF MEN THROUGH MEN*
📖 (Acts 9:6 NKJV)
So he, trembling and astonished, said, ''Lord, what do You want me to do?" Then the Lord said to him, "Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do"
The Bible tells us the
story of Peter and
Cornelius in Acts 10. Cornelius, a Roman centurion, was a devout and God-fearing man who regularly gave alms to the poor, yet he wasn’t saved. In a vision, an angel appeared to him, instructing him to send for Peter whoshall tell him words, whereby he and all his household
shall be saved.
Someone might ask, “Why didn't the angel directly instruct Cornelius on what he needed to do for salvation? Why the elaborate process of summoning and persuading Peter?” It’s because God sent men to bear His message of
salvation, not angels. His policy is to use men to save men.
This principle is exemplified in the fact that God Himself
became a man to bring salvation to us. That’s why He still needed to use the Apostle Peter to lead Cornelius and his
household to salvation. His Gospel is committed to men and to be
preached by men. And by men, we mean men and women alike.
In 1Timothy 1:11, Paul said, “According to the
glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was
committed to my trust.” The Gospel has been committedto your trust, not to the trust of angels. So, take advantage of His mandate and be a light in your world and to the nations. Enlighten and illuminate the hearts of men and women with the saving truth and transforming realities of the Gospel.
It’s a noble responsibility for us to carry the
message of salvation to the farthest corners of the earth. So rejoice in
this privilege and let it become the focal point of your life's purpose. You’ve been granted the opportunity to serve in
the Gospel, to proclaim His righteousness and to establishHis Kingdom on earth and in the hearts of people.
Nothingcould be more gratifying!
🗣️ CONFESSION 🗣️

LIFE FOUND ON
YOUR LIPS
(The Words You Speak
Determine Your Life)
TO THE BIBLE
Proverbs 18:21 NIV
“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it
will eat its fruit.”
LET’S TALK
Sean’s mother took him, weak and deathly ill, to
a church meeting. As the pastor concluded the
service after ministering to several people, she cried out to get his attention. Crying
profusely, she placed Sean, who lay helplessly on the platform. Despite the ushers’ attempts to
calm her, she was determined to get the pastor’s attention. When the Pastor turned in her direction, he sternly asked, “What’s the matter?” She explained, “My son is dying,” but
the Pastor needed to correct her confession. Firmly, he told her,
“You’re saying the wrong things. If you say he’s dying, that’s what you’re going to get!”
He then asked, “What exactly do you want? Do you want
him to live or die?” Despite the tough approach, she replied, “I
want him to live.” The Pastor instructed her to put her hand on
him, call his name, and declare that he would live and not die. As she obeyed and spoke those words, something miraculous happened. Within a few seconds, Sean, who been weak
and sickly, unable to stand, jumped up excitedly; his body had
received strength, and they experienced a miracle. Hallelujah!
However, Sean could have succumbed to death if someone hadn’t taught his mother what to do and say. She
had to speak the right words because death and life are in the power of the tongue. When sickness attacks your body,it’s death attacking; you must respond by declaring, “No; in the
Name of Jesus, I refuse to be sick!”
Speak life to your body, for the Gospel we have received is a gospel of life; life has come to us. If, for example, a
Christian is diagnosed with a heart condition, by words, that heart can
be mended, or he or she can even have a new heart. Words are crucial in the Kingdom of God. With your words, you can consistently chart your course to victory. Hallelujah!

*TREASURES OF INESTIMABLE VALUE*
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works (Titus 2:14).
Every human person is important to God; every man, woman, boy and girl! He uniquely cares for each and every one of us. That’s why numbers bear significance to God.
While God desires the salvation of a multitude, His love for each individual is deep and personal. Your value to Him is beyond what you could ever imagine. If you study the Bible, you'll realize that even if you were the sole inhabitant of planet earth, Jesus would still have come to save you.
Christ’s purpose wasn't dictated by our numbers but by our worth to God. It was our importance and value to Him that compelled Him to pay the ultimate price for our salvation. No wonder the Bible says in Luke 15:7 (NKJV), “I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.”
Jeremiah 31:3 NIV is also very beautiful; it says, "…I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." Psalm 139:13-14 NIV says, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
In both scriptures, the reference is quite direct and personal. God loves you. You’re His treasure of inestimable value. He calls us a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, called to display the virtues, perfections, graces and excellence of divinity (1 Peter 2:9).
Ephesians 2:10 AMPC, brings it to a climax. It says, "For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]."
PRAYER / CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for loving me and demonstrating your value for me by the price you paid for my salvation— the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross. I see others through your eyes of love and reach out to them with the good news of salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
