What a great line from Jovoy, do you have a favourite?

A ‘blue’ fragrance with a difference. I smelt this in store some time ago and thought oh that smells nice but still dismissed it quite quickly as I do as it didn’t wow me!

Fast forward a couple of years and this gets sent out to me to try..
I have now worn it a few times and I’m pleasantly surprised. Now I’m not going to pretend that it doesn’t smell quite generic, it does! BUT It actually smells really pleasant. I personally wouldn’t describe it as a ‘blue’ fragrance. It ticks the box as a super modern fougere. It has a soft lavender that mixes with Iris and musk that gives it a powdery texture. It has a ton of a synthetic pink pepper with a pinch of saffron that makes your nose tingle a bit anddddddd that’s about it! Does it smell nice though? yes it does. I like this line from the brand and I like prada fragrances in general. They always seem good quality, smell good and are usually reasonably priced.

So in short, have you smelt something similar to this before? Probably! Does it smell good? YES!

This is a beast! If you like Oud for greatness than I think you would like this.

I get lots of Patchouli & Amber mixed with a sugary candy synthetic Oud. Ethyl Maltol is featured with some warm spices.
I get a slight Floral creamy feel that is mixed with a rugged earthy and almost boozy edge. It’s strong! Really strong, so go light on the sprayer.

This is still one of my favourite releases from last year. Not just designer but all fragrances. What a fantastic Iris based fragrance, this time with a bit of chestnut and whiskey.

The nose behind this fragrance is Gaël Montero. Top notes are Saffron, Cardamom, Geranium and Cypress; middle notes are Agarwood (Oud), Guaiac Wood, Cedar and Ylang-Ylang; base notes are Leather, Vetiver and Patchouli.

Lots of leather, a bit of Oud all sit over this woody and slightly aromatic fragrance. It’s a little smoky and also a little green. I also thought I was smelling a little violet too. It’s all a bit earthy and certainly packs a punch. I find it to lean more on the masculine side.

It is compared to Interlude Man but I find this to be much more wearable. I really like it but my wife doesn’t so I’ll just wear this when on my own 😃

This is still one of my favourite fragrances. It starts off with quite a sweet, juvenile apple candy note. I think it smells like the foamy banana sweets with a little caramel. Think a Banoffee flavoured bubblegum.
It is a different animal underneath though. It’s a little naughty and dare I say sexy 😱
There is a manly musky leather smell. It’s a tiny bit smoky and goes a little animalic. I absolutely love it! It has crazy performance. This won’t be for everyone but it is a fun and naughty perfume. 😈

It remimds me of a Santal Austral with a very pleasing vanillary powdery musk. Super strong and not too sweet.

A smoky woody dark vanilla fragrance. Love at first sniff
FRENCH FLOWER
An extremely classy white floral fragrance from yesteryear. Super powerful florals for that special occasion.
