World order...
“Hindi kami papayag na magkaroon ng terrorism sa election.”
Thank you, Mr. President!
Kakampinks are trying so hard to paint BBM in a bad light with that video with Joe Zubiri in Bukidnon. They made it look like he snubbed the old man.
Well, they did not succeed again.
Migz already issued a statement on this saying that it was a miscommunication between BBM and his father on the sequence of events in the program and that it was nothing but an intention to sow malice and intrigue towards BBM and the rest of the party.
Kase kung hindi ka malisyoso at malisyosa, you won’t post it right away. Mag-antay ka. Restrain yourself from reposting. Kase pagmali ka, you’ve won yourself a Marites award.
I thought of reposting that as soon as I saw that. But I didn’t. Why? What if she was introducing someone else?
Ayokong patulan itong Zubiri issue but may this serve us all lesson. Hinay-hinay. Triggered kayo kaagad pag akala nyo ikakasama ng iba.
PALAK-PALAK KAG MAG TIRIK-TIRIK
I saw that video posted by some kakampinks. I didn’t comment as I had yet to see a longer video to check what has transpired after that and a statement from Migz Zubiri himself because he was the one standing on the left side of BBM and could be seen moving towards his father as though signalling or telling him to wait. So, may this statement make you all those who feasted on the video frustrated and sad. You couldn’t wait or you did not even try to restrain yourself because you were too excited and already salivating in putting BBM down.
It is either they took it hook, line, and sinker or they are aware it is fake yet that is their way of bismirching a person’s reputation.
STATEMENT ON A FAKE QUOTE CARD
Our attention has been drawn to a false quote card that has been circulating on social media bearing the photo of William Vincent Marcos with a statement allegedly from his interview with Boy Abunda saying that his father, presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos was an addict.
The graphic or quote card was posted with the caption, "Sa anak na nya galing yan ha. Ngayon nyo sabihin na hindi addict ang kandidato nyo," and made it appear that the quote therein is from an interview with Boy Abunda. This is false and manipulated content.
We are aware that a lot of netizens have fallen victim to this malicious form of dangerous information and communication materials, not founded in fact, and has the potential to incite backlash against any guest, host, program, or defame their character.
We appeal to the public to stop sharing fabricated and unverified information.
Thank you

My President rides the MRT-3 to signal the completion of the rail line’s massive rehabilitation. 😍👏🙌
The MRT-3 Rehabilitation Project, which started in 2018, and was implemented by the Sumitomo Corporation and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, was funded via Official Development Assistance from the Government of Japan, through the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
The completion ceremony was held yesterday, 22 March 2022, led by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Transportation Secretary Art Tugade, and Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Koshikawa Kazuhiko.
Congratulations to both the DOTr and MRT-3! Congratulations to the Filipino people!

A simple and straightforward explanation from one of the brilliant Ilonggo lawyers...
One of the many reasons why I am voting for .... eto ang plataporma ni BBM na lagi naman natin naririnig sa mga interviews and public appearances nya. We need to vote for Sara as his VP as we need a working and cooperative VP to make all these happen. Please post this on your wall so people will be more familiar with his platform.

NATO cannot escape the blame... turning a blind eye to it reeks with double standard and hypocrisy.
Gravitas Plus: Did NATO push Ukraine into war? The Ukraine conflict has been 'westsplained' enough. On Gravitas Plus, Palki Sharma tells you how Western arrogance & NATO's expansionism are also to blame, ...
RUSSIA Vs UKRAINE
Before I went to sleep, my wife said to me: "This Russia is such a bad country, If Ukraine wants to join NATO, it is their business and freedom, Russia has no right to intervene, this is just an excuse for Russia to invade Ukarine."
So I said nothing, I just went to the kitchen and took a knife to bedside, then I said: "Let’s go to sleep."
My wife looked at me with her wide eyes: "What the heck are you doing, sleeping with a knife?!?!"
I said: "No worry, let’s go to sleep. Beside, sleeping with a knife is none of your business and it is my freedom."
My wife said: "How can I sleep when you are sleeping with a knife? What if you accidentally cut me?"
I said: "Well, You don’t even trust your own husband, how can you expect Russia to trust Ukraine? Me sleeping with a knife is like Ukraine joining the NATO."

I have mentioned this bill (Pandemic Preparedness Bill) at the onset of the pandemic. This bill was filed by MDS in 2013 and it is still pending. I am glad BBM is picking this up. This is another reason why I am voting for him.
This bill is built upon such wisdom by seeking to strengthen national response and preparedness for public health emergencies, such as those which result from natural disasters and severe weather, recent outbreaks and pandemics, bioterrorism, mass casualties, chemical emergencies and radiation emergencies.
NOTE: In the words of Prof. Clarita Carlos, explanation is different from justification.
This is what the media does not tell us.
Russia swallowed the two big tranches of NATO expansion in their region even if they disliked it.
1.1999- Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic
2. 2004- Romania, Baltic States, etc.
As you can see it did not involve states around their borders. So they did not bat an eyelash over it.
The Bucharest Summit in 2008 was the straw that broke the camel's back. NATO welcomes the aspirations of Ukraine and Georgia to become members of NATO.
Russia made it clear long before that it is UNACCEPTABLE. Putin said that such a move is a direct threat to Russia because it means placing NATO right at its borders.
It is clear that Russia is not after invading or conquering Ukraine.
They only want a neutral Ukraine.
But after the Bucharest summit, the US and its allies did not listen. It is because according to Prof. Mesheimer, the US and its allies believe they are always the good guys. They are the *benign hegemon and they can do pretty much anything in this world.
*Benign hegemony refers to the United States using other states to extend its influence/power. In terms of this debate the USA is acting in an imperial manner but through a softer approach- using tactics like diplomacy rather than military action to get other states to bend to their will.
Again, Ukraine is a heavily divided country right at the onset. The western side supports US and NATO but remember that the east still supports Russia.
Remember the separatist states of Ukraine, which Russia had recognized earlier as independent states, collectively called the Donbas region.
WHAT THE PHILIPPINES CAN LEARN FROM UKRAINE (REVISITING THE EDSA REVOLUTION)
I am not pro-Russia nor pro-Putin.
After reading further and listening to the likes of Prof. John Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago, I condemn the US, its allies, and NATO for using Ukraine as their hapless pawn to propel their vested interests.
The conventional wisdom in the West in places like Great Britain and the US is that Putin or Russia is responsible for this crisis. In any story, we have the good guys and the bad guys, and of course, as always, the US are the good guys and the Russians are the bad guys.
Prof. Mearsheimer said, "THIS IS SIMPLY WRONG." The US and its allies are RESPONSIBLE for this crisis.
Why?
It is very important to understand that what the West has been trying to do since 2008, is turning Ukraine into a western bulwark on Russia's border.
That policy has three dimensions:
1. NATO expansion
2. EU expansion
3. Democracy
The third one is just like what they did in countries like Libya and Iraq, and even in the Philippines. You are under a dictatorship, you need democracy so here we come. Remember our Martial Law?
It boggles Prof. Mearsheimer's mind when people in the US, Britain, etc. cannot understand Russia's response.
The idea that you could take a military alliance run by the US, the most powerful state in the world, and run it up to Russia's borders, and Russia shouldn't be bothered by it is UNTHINKABLE.
Tapos sa US, meron silang Monroe Doctrine. The doctrine says that no distant power is allowed to form a military alliance with a country in the western hemisphere and is certainly not allowed to move military forces into the said hemisphere.
But remember the Cuban Missile Crisis when the Soviets wanted to put nuclear tip missiles in Cuba. Sabi ng US, that's unacceptable.
Military forces from afar are not allowed in the western hemisphere. It is because the US views the western hemisphere as its backyard.
Now, do you think that Russia is deeply disturbed by the US? USING and TURNING Ukraine into its bulwark right on its border? Of course, they are!
Russia made it clear that after the Bucharest summit, Ukraine is not going to become a part of NATO. But of course, the US and its allies did not listen. Why?
The US has always believed they are the good guys and that they cannot do pretty much what they want to do in this world.
Of course, that's not what the media feeds us. The media has always painted Russia as the bogeyman and we fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Just like what they did with countries and world leaders.
It is time to look at the bigger picture, the history, and the origins of this crisis.
We continue to pray for Ukraine, Russia, and the whole world.
Looking at all these, buttresses my support for Duterte and our current foreign policy, as well as my candidate of choice for the presidency.
I want the continuity of Duterte’s manifesto... WHEN THE ELEPHANTS FIGHT, IT’S THE GRASS THAT GETS TRAMPLED.
28 out of 31 Mayors in Negros Occidental supports BBM-SARA UNITEAM
Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer presented the 28 mayors to the members of the UniTeam headed by Marcos in a meeting held in a hotel on Wednesday, February 23.
The mayors who were present in the meeting voluntarily expressed their support to the BBM-Sara tandem.
While we are at this Ukraine-Russia issue, that is why I am not voting for this lady because of her pronouncements such as how she wants the Philippines to be like Ukraine. Strong allies? Look at what Ukraine’s president has to say now. Please see pics below. If you want the Philippines to be like Ukraine, then go ahead vote for her. If you are undecided, vote for someone else.
Because Western Visayas is the hub of this week's sorties and today is the anniversary of EDSA People Power revolution...
I was born and raised in Iloilo and the death of Evelio Javier has always been taught to us as a classic example of the atrocities of Martial Law.
But there's this side of the story that they have been keeping from us.
Evelio Javier was gunned down by his political rival. It was a tragedy borne out of greed for power and politics.
So, when was history revised? Now?
For me, sweeping that fact under the rug is historical revisionism per se, which has been used to buttress the longest and most profitable political narrative in this country.
Just as how were also taught how Martial Law was imposed because of FEM's greed for power instead of quelling the communist rebellion.
And how it was instilled in us how Ninoy was arrested because just like Evelio Javier, he was also a staunch critic of the Marcos regime, instead of how he was charged with TREASON for allegedly supplying arms to the rebels in the Mindanao from Malaysia. (Read up on how we lost Sabah to Malaysia)
I do not condone the abuses of this period. But I equally condemn how some narratives were made or shaped to suit vested interests.
So, when you see how red and green have flooded the region since yesterday, it is not historical revisionism nor people being too dumb to understand history.
Those are the hues of frustration and anger for having been duped for more than three decades.
Homer’s Odyssey talks about Odysseus who came across a race of people called the Lotus Eaters who lived primarily on narcotic lotus fruits and flowers growing on the island. These made the Lotus Eaters sleep peacefully, spending their lives mostly in apathy.
The yellow narrative that's akin to those lotus fruits and flowers, was rammed down our throats and has kept us blinded and too comfortable to even think of curing ourselves of myopia and stupor.
Well, the people have finally woken up and then you cry historical revisionism?
Historical revisionism my arse.
“The Yellows used Marcos and his family as the bogeyman for their failures. They were a convenient punching bag. The same was true with Erap and GMA. Each and every time, it was not their fault that they failed to deliver on their promised reforms until the Filipino simply tired of it and elected Rodrigo Duterte as President in 2016. This was the Filipino’s middle finger against the Yellows who continue to think that it is their destiny and right to impose their will on the majority who do not know better. The Filipino simply tired of the self-entitlement and the self-righteousness.”
“Hindi Ito Ang Huling EDSA” I thought I was done writing about EDSA but as it turns out, I was not. Why? Because the Yellowidiots are foaming at the mouth again as the 36th Anniversary of their “People Power Revolution&…
ANG AMPALAYA INUULAM, HINDI INUUGALI
Judging from the Uniteam caravan yesterday and based on the comments of netizens, whatever the Pinklawans have to say about it like how people were gathered and paid to join the caravan and attend the sortie, that's on top of people lining up the streets for BBMSARA UNITEAM, it's UNDENIABLE that that crowd to the surprise of everybody was MASSIVE than we expected, considering that it's Negros, which is part and parcel of the anti-Marcos narrative.
I think it is a blatant disregard of people's blazing spirit and volunteerism when some say that people were paid yesterday.
I have family and friends who came from the northern and southern parts of Negros who travelled for 3 hours just to attend the rally.
Ten-wheeler trucks were used to haul people to Bacolod and they were not even enough.
All these efforts came from people's own initiative and pockets.
One comment I've read stands out from the rest and to sum it up...
"ANG AMPALAYA INUULAM, HINDI INUUGALI. " 😂
Ay abaw, hell hath no fury for a desperate supporter.
It's all over the Internet how a group of kakambings threw fliers straight into BBM's face.
I kinda saw it coming, after seeing this clip of a pick-up truck with a BBM standee at the back passing by a group of kakambings.
I saw one kakambing reaching out with a pink guidon about to smash the standee.
Anyway, what I like about being a supporter of BBM is, first, how the cancel culture has never made its way into our mindset. I have never come across any ka-BBM who called for the boycott of any personality or business.
Second, I have never heard of them getting physically aggressive towards other candidates.
Third, we have never claimed monopoly over truth, righteousness, etc.
While they claim to be disente and the harbinger of truth and righteousness in this world, they are becoming more like bigots or extremists.
So much for the radical love they glorify...
Yes, Ping, that’s the subconscious mind working. Somebody is fixated with power... kaya yan ang lumabas sa bunganga.

Dahil UP Econ, quota course yan, abogada pa...

It baffles me how Pinklawans argue that BBM shouldn't bank on his father's legacy and that he is nothing without his father.
And at the same time they always try hard to prove how bad the country was during FEM's time.
With that premise, is there really a legacy that overshadows BBM?
Ano ba talaga?
If there's none to be proud of, then people rooting for him see him beyond being simply a son of FEM.
Suck it up.
Dami ninyong kuda, kesyo hindi totoo yung golden years sa panahon ni FEM, tapos sasabihin, BBM shouldn't ride along his father's legacy.

The problem with this mindset Philstar is that that those legitimate experiences of the ML by other people are considered “false” by media outlets like you, bereft of the consideration that things in the world including experiences are influenced by one’s mores of place and time. Various narratives persist whether we like it or not.
EDSA 1986 was a news coverage of a lifetime. We were witnesses to history that can’t be changed by false narratives in social media. EDSA is a story I will never get tired of narrating to future generations. https://bit.ly/3LQhSJV | via ONE News

Martial Law and Communism
The intricacies of being a communist in the Philippines most especially during the Marcos regime had something to do with the extent of a person's involvement and connection with the communist parties and rebel groups.
I do not condone the WARRANTLESS arrests. But some arrests had to be done to prevent anarchy first and foremost.
I am not a Marcos loyalist I grew up, having accepted the unassailable narrative that people like Ninoy is a hero until I started reading up more on it.
The PhD dissertation of Joseph Paul Scalice at UC Berkeley on the Phlippine Martial Law and the Communist Parties of the Philippines in 1959-1974 is a revelation.
It is something that has never been taught at school. It is always Ninoy as the hero and how the Martial Law was simply a manifestation of greed and an attempt to stay in power.
It was never about to quell rebellion and to prevent anarchy in the country.
Ninoy and the fathers of the EDSA revolution grabbed the chance when the CPP (Communist Party of the Philippines) negotiated with Marcos' leading rivals like Ninoy, Lopez, and Osmeña, who were among the principal allies of the CPP with fortunes and political power tied to vast sugar estates.
Furthermore, founding of the NPA (New People's Army) was facilitated by Ninoy and his political allies in Tarlac.
Forging ties with communist groups MAY not make one a communist, but clearly, when you look at the bigger picture, Ninoy was a communist, if not, what's worse is that he and his ilk made use of the communists and rebel groups for their vested interests.
Thirty plus years after the revolution, where has it led us to?
LENI LITERALLY NEEDS A MIRACLE TO BEAT BBM
Official COMELEC data [1] shows VP Leni Robredo got 14,418,817 votes in 2016. The same data set states 54,363,844 out of 65,745,529 registered voters cast their ballots, for a turnout of 81.95%.
Latest SWS data, polled from January 28 to 31, shows Leni getting a measly 19% voter preference [2]. Assuming identical turnout for 2022 (81.95%), the 53,878,461 of the estimated 65,745,529 registered voters will cast their ballots on May 9th, so that 19% is 10,236,908 will likely vote for Leni, which is 4,181,909 less than her votes in 2016.
The same SWS data states that 50% will vote for BBM. Using the same 2022 registration figures, this translates to 26,939,231 voters. Some estimate [3] that 80.3% of these are firm BBM voters, i.e. unlikely to change their mind, so BBM has a solid 21,632,202 votes.
Assuming BBM loses his non-firm voters (20%), leni has to get at least 21,632,202 votes on election day. This does not only entail regaining the popular support she lost for the past six years, very modestly pegged at 4,181,909 votes, but also gaining a further 7,213,386 votes.
There are only 102 days between January 28th (SWS survey date) and May 9th. That's barely over three months.
This bears repeating: in a mere 3 months, Leni should:
[A] regain the 4+ million votes she lost from 2016 to 2022
[B] get an additional 7+ million votes
[C] manage to convince BBM's 20% soft voters to vote for someone other than BBM
If, by some miracle, she manages to do all three, she would be getting at least 21,632,203 votes, or at least 40% of total voters who actually vote, which is at least ~5 percentage points higher than President Rody Duterte's ~35% share in 2016.
To cut the long story short, Leni Robredo has barely over three months to become much more popular than Rodrigo Duterte, if she has any shot at winning the presidency.
She'll need a miracle.
Or best friends in Smartmatic.
P.S. In case you want to insist on using Pulse or Laylo data, Leni will have to get even MORE votes with those data sets. That is, among the main 3 firms (Pulse, Laylo, SWS), Leni's best-case scenario lies in SWS, which is what I used. Pinartidahan ko si Leni, in short.
