Magic with Toddlers
Advice and tips on traveling to Disneyland in Anaheim California with your toddler and baby, from a Disneyland annual passholder and mother of two.
When you go with Daddy, you get a new sweater. ✨ Mommy and the little boys weren’t feeling well this week, so a family trip turned into a father-daughter trip and they had such a good time. She got lots of treats and of course a new dress, sweater, and hat 😉
And they brought me back a cookie 😋
Here’s hoping our next family trip actually happens, it’s rare to take Daddy with us! 🤞🏼
Practicing walking in Toontown 🥰
The most beautiful sight at the most wonderful time of the year.
Watching A Christmas Fantasy parade makes me tear up 🥲 There’s just something extra magical about Disneyland at Christmastime 🎄
I brought some of my paintings to the craft show this weekend, but I’m going to work on getting better displays for them so I can bring more next time. You can find my paintings on my Etsy shop too!
My 5yo loved exploring the Sorcerer’s Workshop in the Animation Building. She carefully drew her own artwork so it could spin around, and enjoyed going at her own pace around the room (while her little brothers were napping 😉)
Such a cute feature in the line to meet Santa Claus in California Adventure’s Redwood Creek. My 5yo was so happy to put her name on Santa’s Nice List. It was an hour and a half slow-moving line, but every kid got to tell Santa what they wanted 😊
Said goodbye to Belle’s Library this week! It closes on December 10, and I had to make sure my 5yo got to experience it. She really enjoyed it and did the personality quiz twice 😊
Even in the rain, she’s gorgeous. 🥰 We got poured on this last Wednesday but it was still magical and the kids had fun! We tried to wait out the rain at night but it soaked us and we went across the street to Mimi’s for dinner instead 😂 (the berry crepes were perfect 👌🏼)
So glad I got my bag!!! Magic Key holders, today is the last day to get these under the Silly Symphony Swings in the afternoon (such a fun free perk!)
We happened to be exiting California Adventure just as Oswald came out! My kids got some really nice uninterrupted moments with him - hugs, high fives, and pictures with a character we’ve never watched a cartoon of 😂 That’s going to be on tonight’s agenda 😉
Just traipsing through my favorite place with my favorite people 🥰
We had such a fun time at Oogie Boogie Bash this past Thursday! Check out my highlight and reels for more details and to see what exactly we did. If we go in the next few years, my goal will be to see Villains Grove. We didn’t get to it this year, the night goes by quickly and there’s so much to do! My kids loved the treat trails, and my personal highlight was finally being able to ride Incredicoaster (5 minute wait!) Honestly, the low ride times are a big draw for me 😉
Make sure to save room for some seasonal treats 😉 Highly recommend these two available at Hungry Bear Restaurant at Disneyland 😋😋
See my highlights for other treats I enjoy, and utilize the Disneyland app for menus and mobile ordering!
Our new Disneyland setup - my Joovy double stroller, with an umbrella stroller. The baby is a year old now, and too heavy to be in the baby carrier all day now. So instead, he’s in the stroller and when my 4yo is tired, we open the umbrella stroller and grandma pushes her too :) We’re very blessed that we can take grandma with us, otherwise we would only be able to stay for a few hours at a time 🤪
We celebrated Baby’s 1st birthday this weekend!! I had so much fun pulling out all my Mickey stuff 🤣😍 This is my third baby and my first Mickey party, and I’m so happy with how good it came out (props to my bestie for doing the decorating!) Happy Birthday Baby! ❤️
You know you’re raising Disney children when the first vehicle they make is a monorail 🚝
Happy Halloween season!!! The weather has cooled off slightly just in time for fall at Disneyland 😉
Learned how to play Yahtzee Jr today with Lily before the boys woke up! She has a lot of fun; it’s a dream come true to have a kid to play games with ☺️
Some of my highlights from my time at the in Burbank today! Unfortunately it took me till the last weekend to see it, but I love that so much Disneyland history was on exhibit for the public to see for free!
Got a new memory game for my kids and I.
Just enjoying the view 👀
Tried the powdered sugar churro with guava cream cheese today and 😋😋😋😋 so yummy, definitely recommend the guava cream cheese!
This was my little snack while my boys napped and big sister went on a ride with grandma 😉
Until August, Disneyland ✌🏼
Went looking for the Guardians of the Galaxy and found a familiar face
Spring is beautiful, even in Radiator Springs.
We’re all feeling exhausted after a long full day yesterday at the parks, but we had a great time and got a lot of rides done (including Guardians for me during naptime 😱)
One of our favorite spots at Disneyland is Toontown, and Mickeys house is a great place to explore there (and it’s inside!). There are tons of things to look at, furniture to sit on, k***s to twist, and if you want to stay in line you can see Mickey at the end! (Wait times are listed in the app and on this day it was 60 minutes so we didn’t stick around for a Mickey picture).
I love going to Disneyland with my babies (peek at us getting in line for The Little Mermaid ride yesterday, taken by the bestie)
The area around Casey Jr and Storybook Canal Boats is one of my favorites at Disneyland. I’m a sucker for miniatures, and the landscaping is beautiful as always. Wednesday was a beautiful day at the parks, cloudy but not too cold or rainy!
We enjoyed our naptime in Pooh Corner our last trip (on my blog I have a whole list of quiet spots to rest)
