First ever performance last night at the Herefordshire Performing Arts Festival and we only went and won our category!!!!!!
A score of 90 which put us in the Outstanding category!

I miss music.......
I miss the concerts, the carols, the singing, playing, performing and conducting.
I miss the fun, laughter and joy that it brings to see young and old come together over a verse of O Come all Ye Faithful!
For the first time in 35 years I have not been involved in music at Christmas. There is an emptiness, a flatness ( excuse the pun!)
I didn’t realise how much this would affect me! I am struggling to hear a carol without a pang of sadness in my heart!
A Christmas song on the radio and I think of my choirs! A beautiful choir ringing through a cathedral tower. A brass band carolling on a street corner.
Live music is the heart and soul of every community and It’s importance is beyond measure. ❤️

Study reveals children who play a musical instrument have better memory and attention span A study shows young musicians who play an instrument, practise frequently and regularly perform in an orchestra have increased memory and attention skills.

WANTED: KIDS THAT PLAY MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS FOR FREE PHOTO SHOOT.
We need at least 15-20 Children and teenagers of high school age to take part, we are looking for a broad spectrum of instruments to photograph in a studio environment.
We are giving away 15-20 sessions to be booked for October half term, and will be giving a FREE print for each volunteer. We will need permission to use the images for our studios publicity.
