Let's give a warm welcome to our Diocesan Seminarian, Javier Elias!
Hi everyone! My name is Javier Elias, I am the seminarian who has been assigned to St. Bernard's parish this summer. A little bit about me: I’m 28 years old, my home parish is Our Lady of Guadalupe in Lathrop, I graduated with a major in photography. I finished my first year of seminary and will be going on to my second year. I’m a normal guy like everyone else, it’s just that God has placed this desire to serve Him in my heart and has led me to discern this call in a deeper and concrete manner. That said, please don’t fret about approaching and talking with me. It would be an honor and pleasure to meet and talk with you all. I am excited and ready to serve and learn from all of you. ¡Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Javier Elías, soy el seminarista que ha sido asignado a esta parroquia este verano. Un poquito sobre mí: tengo 28 años, pertenezco a la parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en Lathrop, me gradué con un título en fotografía. Terminé mi primer año del seminario y estaré entrando a mi segundo. Soy un chico común como todos, simplemente Dios ha puesto este deseo de servirle en mi corazón y me ha llevado a discernir este llamado en un modo más profundo y concreto. Dicho eso, por favor no teman en acercarse y platicar conmigo. Será un honor y placer conocerlos a todos. Estoy emocionado y listo para servirles y aprender de todos ustedes. ¡Gracias por su hospitalidad y que Dios los bendiga!
