Hello again! Tonight I made cherry cheesecake cinnamon rolls. And let me tell you, they were delicious! I found this hack for cinnamon rolls online, only I used cherry pie filling for the filling, You all have to try these! They are warm, soft, sweet, and touch of tanginess from the cherries; and absolutely the best rolls I’ve had in a while. And so easy to make! Yum! You all have a blessed night! I chopped some veggies from my garden, plus some I bought at the store, put them in a bowl, sprinkled them with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, then drizzled olive oil over them and stirred until everything was thoroughly coated. Sprinkled them with some sea salt and some pepper and put them on a large sheet pan and baked them on 425 degrees for 30 minutes. So very yummy! Perfect midday snack and very nutritious. Have a blessed day all! 😊
Hello everyone! Yesterday for supper I made this chicken and biscuit casserole. I found the recipe on 12 Tomatoes. It was so delicious! And it literally took hardly any time at all to prepare. It’s savory, creamy, and it really reminded me of a chicken pot pie. The only thing I would change would be to use my homemade biscuits with it, as I’m not a fan of the canned ones. And I do recommend the 12 Tomatoes page. It has tons of wonderful recipes. Check it out! You all have a blessed day! The recipe is in the pictures.
Have a blessed night everyone!
Hello everyone! Time for some old fashioned rice pudding! What a great midday treat! People have been eating rice pudding practically since the beginning of time. It’s a staple in nearly every home. And the recipe is simple and inexpensive. The ingredients you pretty much already have in your pantry. And, oh, what a delicious dessert! Yum! You all have a blessed day! The recipe is in the pictures.
Good evening! For supper I made stuffed peppers and corn fritters with creamy mashed potatoes. What a wonderful meal! When I think of a really delicious, filling, and easy home cooked meal, stuffed peppers come to mind. My oldest son, Josh, absolutely loved these growing up. And I must say, they were loved by everyone. And the corn fritters are one of my favorites. All in all, I give this meal a 10 out of 10! You all have a blessed night. The recipes are in the pictures.
Good evening! So, who’s a fan of potato soup? I know I am! This soup is kielbasa potato soup and it takes plain potato soup to a whole new level. It has the tender potatoes along with some cheddar and Parmesan cheese all melted in the savory, creamy broth; and don’t forget that delicious kielbasa; so delicious! And potato soup isn’t just for cooler weather. It’s perfect for a lazy, rainy day. It’s comfort food for sure. Add a freshly baked roll and it doesn’t get any better. You all have a blessed night. The recipes in the pictures.
Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸
Good evening! Tuna is not just for lunch anymore. I made tuna filled zucchini boats for supper and they were such a wonderful change from traditional suppers. They are so delicious and filling, and very nutritious. They have that wonderful tuna salad mixture, topped with the little tomatoes that roast on top of the boat, underneath all that yummy , freshly grated cheese. And a wonderful way to put my garden zucchini to good use! Yum! Perfect meal. You all have a blessed night. The recipes in the pictures.
…tending to my garden 😊
Good morning! It was a BLT for brunch today! I got my first garden tomato and some fresh garden lettuce and I’m pretty excited! BLT is my favorite sandwich, besides a cheeseburger, and getting to use my garden veggies just makes it so much better. I toasted up some whole grain bread, slathered some Dukes mayo on it, then layered my lettuce and tomato, along with some delicious bacon and I’m in Heaven! Great start to my day! You all have a blessed day! ☀️🙂
Have a blessed day!
Hello everyone! The other day I was invited to my son’s house for dinner so I decided to bring a sweet treat. I made homemade cream cheese lemon muffins. I have been craving something with lemon and these just hit the spot! I found this recipe online by I Am Baker, and I’ll definitely be making these again. The muffin itself had just the right amount of lemon, not too overpowering, and the cream cheese swirl was divine! And my little grandson fell in love with the crumb topping. They were a big hit! You all have a blessed night! The recipes in the pictures 🙂I hope you all get a chance to make them . They are perfect for summertime.
Hello everyone! This evening for supper I made a meatloaf with some creamy Parmesan garlic potatoes. It’s been way too long since I’ve made a meatloaf since it is absolutely one of my favorite meals. Meatloaf is a classic dish, and probably a staple in most homes. Mom made it when I was growing up, then I made it for her after I was grown and taking care of her. She loved it too. So this dish holds many wonderful memories for me. The potatoes go perfectly with it. Creamy, savory, and a hint of garlic. This was a perfect meal for a perfect evening. You all have a blessed evening. The recipes are in the pictures.
This is my iced coffee I have on my back porch on this beautiful evening. I put 2 tsp of instant coffee in my pint size mason jar. Next I added 2 tsp of brown sugar. Then I added 2 tsp of hot water and a dash of vanilla. I used a milk frother to whisk it until thickened. Then I squeezed some caramel all around the inside of my glass. Next I added ice about half full. Then I added enough milk to leave about 2-3 inches of space to add the sugar free caramel macchiato to the top. Now I stirred it really well. Then I squirted whipped cream and I drizzled more caramel on top of that. Seriously, there’s nothing that can be better right now. It’s perfect! Have a blessed night!
Have a blessed night!
Good evening everyone! For supper I made General Tso’s Chicken. I’m sure most of you have had or else heard of this Chinese dish. It’s very common here in the US. It’s a combination of sweet, spicy, and savory chicken, tender on the inside, with a slight crispy texture. And most of the time is eaten on a bed of rice. I used minute rice this time but I like it best over fried rice. And I must say, this was much better than take out. And super easy to make. Very delicious! You all have a blessed night. The recipe is in the pictures.
Have a blessed Sunday!
Hello everyone! The other day I needed something quick and easy to fix for supper and I saw this recipe. I made the right choice. These crescent rolls are so creamy and savory and delicious! Pure comfort food! I whipped these up in only minutes. Cream cheese and chicken together; you know it’s going to be good! Just stir together the ingredients and roll them up and bake them. Add a vegetable on the side if you like to complete the meal. Yum! You all have a blessed evening! The recipe is in the pictures.
Good morning! Yesterday I made an Apple Buttermilk Custard Pie. It’s hard to believe that the all-American apple pie can get any better, but, guess what? It has! Add some creamy buttermilk custard to those sweet, cinnamon coated, sautéed apples and it totally takes the average Apple pie to a whole new dimension! And that sweet streusel on top, this pie is awesome! I added some vanilla ice cream to my hubbys. As for me, just a warm piece of pie itself was enough for my craving. You all have a blessed day! The recipe is in the pictures.
Hello everyone! So, I made this baked spaghetti the other night for supper. I found this recipe online a while back and, after making this the first time, I loved it! It has a ton of creamy cheese in it, and, if you like, you can add some bell pepper or diced tomatoes. Either way it’s delicious. A nice homemade roll would have been nice but I never got around to making any. lol. You all have a blessed evening. The recipe is in the pictures.
