We would like to thank all of our volunteers and for making this event a huge success! Within 2 hours, all of the volunteers were able to make such a big difference!

Thank you to everyone who donated their bottles and help make this event a success🙏🏻🙏🏻! The final amount raised will be announced soon!!

All of the proceeds will now be going towards making care packages for the less fortunate!!

We would like to take a moment and thank everyone who participated in our very first basketball tournament! We were able to raise over $1000 that will be going towards our sandwich drive and care packages event:)!

Our first Youth Rising Charity Basketball Tournament was a MASSIVE SUCCESS 🎉🏀

Congratulations to our winning team, The Hoopers, who were able to beat some very skilled and competitive teams⛹️‍♂️

Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers and players who took out the time to make this event possible🙏

We look forward to holding another charity tournament soon, but in the mean time stay tuned for some great content showcasing our teams, volunteers, and their amazing basketball skills 🏀

BRACKET FOR THE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT!!

Here is the official bracket for our very first basketball tournament tomorrow! Good luck to all the teams participating!!

Hey everyone! We hope you’re all ready for the basketball tournament this SATURDAY at SFU BURNABY central gym from 2-7PM!

The game will be halfcourt 4v4 games of 20 minutes in length. Score by 1s and 2s. A total of 12 teams are participating in this bracket.

First round is ‘protected’, meaning if you lose you get placed in the first round losers bracket. (Winner of the losers bracket re-enters into the semi-finals of the tourney. )

After the first round, any games lost will lead to elimination.

Teams eliminated in the second round get a chance to enter the losers bracket via a 3 point contest. Second round losers will each appoint one player to take 5 shots, the teams with the most threes made is saved from elimination. (A tie will lead to sudden death).

CHARITY BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT UPDATES:

1) We have officially moved our basketball tournament from Dec23/24 to Jan6/7

2) Our entry fee is now $20/person!!! This means that the prize is now also decreased to be worth $300!

3) Due to safety precautions we have limited the age to only 15+. So now, it will be teams that are 15+ playing BOTH DAYS!

It’s time for our annual 25 Days of Kindness Campaign where we post a small act of kindness each day to promote being selfless and caring this holiday season ♥️🎁

With the holiday season approaching it’s time for our Annual Holiday Bottle Drive 🙌♻️

All proceeds will go towards our holiday care packages for the less fortunate and unhoused communities

We hope everyone has a safe Halloween full of fun and treats. Here are a few safety tips for all of the trick or treaters walking tonight 🍫🍬

In addition to our Car Wash Fundraiser, Youth Rising donated an additional $1100 worth of supplies to help the victims of the Kelowna Wildfire ♥️👏

These supplies included much needed rations, articles of clothing, water, and other items.
