It’s Faux Real Trade Days Liberty weekend and we can’t wait to get back to work 🥰. Come by and say hi and grab a bite and something cold to drink.

Sadly, our favorite waterin’ hole is closing 😔

After 3 years of fun, laughs, tears, more laughs, live music, and delicious food, we unfortunately cannot continue the fun. This post is one we did not want to be making.

First and foremost, we want to thank ALL of our loyal patrons. The ones that showed up to support the visiting food trucks, listen to all the bands/musicians, and various events throughout the years. Without our patrons NONE of this would have ever worked. We say thank you for all the support throughout the past 3 years.

When we opened the doors, June 4, 2021, our goal was to bring Sour Lake a place to catch up with friends, a place to meet new people, or a “hideout” just to escape for a little bit to escape everyday life. Over the past 3 years, we believe we accomplished just that!! We will always have the memories of all the washer tournaments and the fun they brought; all the laughs with new and old friends, and the OH SO busy nights that left us exhausted by the end of the night! And we would do it all over again!!
We gained some new friends and caught up with some old friends in the process.

Let’s not forget about all the cook-off fun! We appreciate each and every sponsor for the different events, all the participants that made it all possible, and each and every person that turned out putting the FUN in fundraiser!! Sour Lake and surrounding areas showed up and showed out to each event making each one better and better. With your help we raised money for various awesome causes.

We loved celebrating various holidays with each of you. We will miss the AWESOME costumes y’all came up with each Halloween, the delicious food y’all shared during Friendsgiving each year, and ringing in each New Year.

Let’s not forget all the bands and musician that came out to help us show y’all a good time. We are appreciative to each and every one of you and will miss hosting you and jamming out!!

Another thing we hoped to accomplish was provide Sour Lake with variety of delicious food with visiting food trucks. And MAN did we have some DELICIOUS nights. To each and every food truck from the beginning to the end that came out and not only fed us bartenders but everyone is Sour Lake, we hope all the best for the future and hope you continue to find a place to bring your food out to Sour Lake!!

We got some inspiration from the trucks and decided to add our own Food truck so that if we could not fill the evening or had a cancellation our patrons would have delicious food to eat. Betty Moeta’s Food Truck has been another great adventure. We loved being able to provide another place to have lunch and dinner!!

We have had an INCREDIBLE 3 years with each and every one of you that made it all possible. We did not make this decision lightly. We spent many of hours trying to find ways to make it possible to continue, however, with years of battling our economic crisis, we can no longer fight the good fight.

August 24, 2024, we will have one last night of laughter and fun before we close the doors for good. We hope to continue the friendships built and hope all the best for each and every one of you.

We just wrapped up Faux Real Trade Days Liberty for June. This is our slow time of the year so we won’t be back in action until July 19-21 back in Liberty.

We open early for breakfast every day. We will not be serving pizza slices or anything with chicken this weekend so that we don’t have to continually run our oven🥵 Hope to see you out there!
