My dear husband never forgets. 65 years today we said "I do". I don't remember an anniversary that he forgot the flowers.

What do you guys think of Swiss Chalet these days. I don't know if they are all the same. But if I was grading them, the one in Bedford, NS would get a 1 out of 10..and the one is only because we had a geat server. She deserved a 10 out of 10. Her talent was wasted on this restaurnts dreadful low grade food. It was so bad it should never have left the kitchen.

Zahra came home. She had a 4 hour adventure first..She's a happy camper.

We've lost Zahra.. our 16 year old Bengal Cat squeezed through a crack in the door and disappeared. She is quite deaf and probably confused. We are on Turtle Cove Rd on Grand Lakes western shore. If you see her please call Bob or Gail.

I can't resist my kitties when they want something. They seem to have their own language. Taps and head bumps and leading me into the kitchen. Eventually I get their message loud and clear. Does your little buddy "talk" to you?

My messaging has gone wonky...anyone else having problems?

This year's Christmas tree, thanks to my thoughtful daugter.. I figured it will do.

Is this pathetic or what? Our daughter gave us this wee Christmas tree. I put it in our lanai (sunroom). All I can say about it is that it's more than we had last year. I love Christmas...But everyone we're close to is away. Our daughter is back for Christmas and is cooking ..so it'll be dinner at her place. I do miss the big family gatherings of my youth. My dad came from a family of 10 kids. We did lots of visiting and had lots of company. My Mom loved Xmas and made each one memorable. How about you?

November already. One month closer to Spring. What's your favourite time of the year?

We had a lovely evening with my daughter. We got to say goodbye to her incredible exchange student Maria. On her way home to Brazil this week. What a wonderful way to see the world and new cultures.

How much do you love/hate going to the malls between Christmas and New Years? All those disappointed shoppers returning their "failed" Christmas gifts. I find it a big downer myself. So, after we returned the "failed" Xmas gift I bought the grinch, we went to Ikea to rush through the store, and then "dine out" in their cafeteria. All in all, a rather interesting day to study, post Christmas shopping. I think next year I'll stay at home.

Hey everybody, I have achieved 100 likes of my page. Facebook says that's a big deal and that I should thank all of you who have liked my page. I have to agree with FB on that one. It is gratifying to know that all of you who are my friends and followers have taken the time to read my stuff and to take the time to like what I am doing.
