Drumroll please...
The Fox Cities just got a whole lot brighter, thanks to the one and only Mike Weller!
That's right, folks! My incredible mentor, Mr. Kindness himself, has been inducted into the Business Leader Hall of Fame by the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce
Mike isn't just a business leader; he's a trailblazer, a visionary, a champion of good people and good ideas. He's the kind of person who builds bridges, not walls, and whose generosity knows no bounds. ✨
So, let's raise a glass (or a coffee mug, depending on the time of day) to Weller, the newest member of the Fox Cities Business Leader Hall of Fame! You're an inspiration to us all, and we can't wait to see what amazing things you achieve next.

P.S. Mike, if you're reading this, prepare for a big hug next time I see you!

Dr. Bri Says As we gear up for this year's holiday season, let's take a moment to remember those who are less fortunate. Some have lost their jobs, some have lost loved ones, and some are struggling to find shelter. As we celebrate with our friends and family, let's also extend a hand to those who are in need. Whether it's through volunteering, donating, or simply offering a kind word, let's spread the spirit of love and generosity this holiday season.

πŸŽ‰ Let's give it up for MOB Clothing brand! πŸŽ‰

MOB stands for Music Of Brown Street, and this incredible brand is a true celebration of the North Side of Milwaukee. It's clear that Lumpie Gee is proud of where he's from, and his passion shines through in every design.

As we all do our holiday shopping, let's remember to support small businesses like Music Off Brown Attire - MOB Attire. Check them out and show some love this Christmas! πŸŽπŸ›οΈ 🎢

🌟 Creating The Employer You Need! 🌟

Employee retention in a rapidly evolving world, it's crucial that we adapt our approach to create the employer we truly need. It's time to think differently, train differently, and embrace a more open-minded perspective. The days of relying on old-fashioned hiring, training, and retention methods are over!

We have to embrace a fresh approach to foster a thriving work environment, we must be open to new ideas and innovative practices. Let's challenge conventional norms and think outside the box. Embracing change allows us to tap into the potential of our workforce and create an atmosphere where everyone can thrive.

Train for Success!!

πŸ“£πŸŽ“ Importance of Attending and Supporting HBCUs: Embracing Legacy and Biblical Implications! πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ“–

Although I did not attend a HBCU, I certainly understand the need to support HBCUs.

HBCUs have long been pillars of education, fostering a strong sense of community and celebrating diversity within the African American experience. Just as God created us in His image, valuing and embracing diversity is an essential biblical principle. HBCUs provide a unique platform for students to learn, grow, and flourish in an environment that honors their cultural heritage.

HBCUs often provide a nurturing environment for students to grow in their faith and spirituality. Many of these institutions have a strong Christian foundation and promote values rooted in biblical teachings. Attending an HBCU can deepen your spiritual journey while gaining a quality education, fostering a holistic approach to personal development. HAPPY SOUL SUNDAY

Sharing Is Caring: No Room for Gatekeeping

Dr. Bri Says Gatekeeping is when people try to establish themselves as the "gatekeepers" of knowledge or interests, creating barriers and excluding others from participating or learning.

Knowledge is a beautiful thing. It's not meant to be hoarded or kept hidden away in exclusive circles. Instead, knowledge grows when it's shared, discussed, and explored together.

When we embrace a culture of sharing, we create an environment that fosters growth, learning, and collaboration. By generously sharing what we know, we empower πŸ’ͺ🏾

Stay Ready So You Won't Have To Get Ready πŸ’ͺ🏾

So, what does it mean to "stay ready"? It means continuously investing in ourselves, honing our skills, and expanding our knowledge.

When we stay ready, we become proactive rather than reactive. We're prepared to take action, make decisions, and adapt to change. We're not caught off guard or overwhelmed because we've already put in the time and effort to prepare ourselves for whatever lies ahead.

Remember, staying ready is a mindset and a commitment to personal growth. It's about being intentional with our time and resources, setting goals, and working towards them consistently.

πŸ“’ Exciting News! Target, one of the largest retail stores in the USA, is breaking down barriers and embracing inclusivity like never before.

Dr. Bri Says We're thrilled to see Target's latest advertising campaign featuring a male model in a wheelchair showcasing their incredible clothing collection.

By featuring a model with a disability, Target is sending a clear message that fashion is for everyone, regardless of ability! This move helps to challenge societal norms and provides a platform for individuals with disabilities to be seen and celebrated. It's a significant stride towards normalizing disability in the media and fostering inclusivity in our society.

Kudos to Target for recognizing the importance of representation and taking a proactive approach to showcase the beauty and diversity of their customers.

Dr. Bri here, and I'm here to remind you that happiness is the key to a fulfilling life! So go ahead and indulge in that delicious piece of cake you've been eyeing!

Remember, it's important to pamper yourself every now and then. Take a break from the daily grind, and engage in activities that bring you pleasure and relaxation. Whether it's a bubble bath, a massage, or a cozy movie night, take the time to recharge and rejuvenate. You deserve it!

And here's a little secret: it's okay to be selfish sometimes. Putting yourself first is not a crime; it's an act of self-care.

Good Morning Facebook Family!

I wanted to take a moment to talk about the importance of doing your own research. In this age of information overload, it's crucial to be critical thinkers and not just rely on secondhand information or blindly accept everything we come across.

Remember, doing your own research doesn't mean you have to be an expert on everything. It's about cultivating a curious mindset, seeking reliable sources, and critically evaluating the information you encounter.

Hey Facebook Family I want to discuss our spiritual journey through journaling.

Dr. Bri Says Journaling allows you to track your spiritual growth over time. You can record milestones, answered prayers, and moments of transformation. Looking back on your journal entries can serve as a reminder of God's faithfulness and the progress you've made in your journey of faith.

Remember, journaling is a personal practice, so there is no right or wrong way to approach it. Find a style and format that works for you, whether it's writing free-form entries, using prompts, or incorporating artistic elements. Ultimately, it's about creating a space for authentic expression and inviting God to be a part of your journaling journey. Happy Soul Sunday

Tonight's thoughts

Dr. Bri Says In this journey we call life, it's easy to get caught up in seeking validation and support from those around us. We often crave the approval of our family and friends, hoping they'll understand and cheer us on in everything we do. But here's the thing: It's not always guaranteed, and that's okay.

Sometimes, the people closest to us might not fully comprehend our dreams, passions, or the path we've chosen.

The most important support you can have is the belief in yourself and your own abilities. So, keep pushing forward, stay focused, and trust your instincts.

27/09/2023

Hey everyone!

I wanted to take a moment and talk about something we can all relate to: wasting time.

But here's the thing: time is the most valuable resource we have. It's precious and limited, and once it's gone, we can never get it back.

Remember, time is a gift, and it's up to us to make the most of it. Let's strive to fill our days with purpose, growth, and meaningful experiences.

Yours truly
