INTERCULTURAL PEACEBUILDING

Before we go into the main discuss, let us elucidate some of the concepts.

Culture is ways of people's lives in the world. It has to do with international shared norms and values in the societies.

Intercultural in this respect means accepting other people's culture as your culture as well.

Peacebuilding is programmes designed to address the causes of conflict and the grievances of the past and to promote long-term stability and justice. Peacebuilding as a process involves approaches planned to advance a protected and firm lasting peace in which the basic human needs of the people are met and violent conflicts do not occur or recur.

Cultural identity known as race, ethnicity and tribes caused many armed/violent conflicts in the world which resulted to lost of millions of lives and destruction's of properties worth trillions of Dollars i.e Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Congo etc.
The first and second 🌎 World War occurred as a result of ethnicity/racial and quest for superiority.

Intercultural Peacebuilding effort is important in multicultural and pluralistic societies. Intercultural understanding can be understood as the shared symbolic and interactive meanings among group of people with distinctive primary culture. In our contemporary divided societies across the globe, diversity and multicultural education otherwise known as Intercultural Peacebuilding will help to addresses acute and chronic tension between groups fostered by religious and ethnic intolerance.

Intercultural peacebuilding for ☮️ peaceful coexistence seeks to replace dehumanizing stereotypes, hostility, violence, intolerance, and brings moral inclusion such as equitable distribution of resources and making sacrifices that could foster joint well-being.

Religious tolerance is a shared values that help to promote intercultural peace. In multicultural and pluralistic societies there are different religious beliefs and cultures. Having the capacity to accept others as unique human persons who have the right to be different especially in religious beliefs and practices. This encompasses the recognition of right of private judgement in religious matters or liberty to uphold one's religious opinion and forms of worship and to enjoy all social privileges without regard to religious difference. In building the culture of peace, religious tolerance entails the loving acceptance of others as an image of God who have destiny with God.

Why are powerful countries spending 50% of their budgets on weapons production ?
Are you planning to destroy mankind's that God created ?

We're calling for total annihilation of these weapons of mass destruction because the right to life is sacrosanct.
