Travelers to and from the Philippines are required to register through the E-Travel portal (https://etravel.gov.ph).

FOR ALL ARRIVING PASSENGERS:

Register within seventy-two (72) hours prior to your scheduled time of arrival in the Philippines.

FOR DEPARTING PASSENGERS (Filipino Passengers only):

Register within seventy-two (72) hours to 3 hours prior to your scheduled time of departure from the Philippines.

For your guidance:

1. Visit www.etravel.gov.ph
2. Select “Philippine passport holder” or Foreign passport holder” according to your nationality
3. Enter the details of your travel and your email address
4. Enter your personal details and sign a health declaration form to complete registration
5. Wait for your QR code to be generated then download and print/save a digital copy.
6. Present your QR code upon check-in prior to your departure or during the BOQ verification upon arrival.

FLYING SAFELY WITH PAL

PAL continues to implement Fly Safe practices to protect our passengers, in compliance with international health and safety protocols.

Masks are no longer required on flights to and from the Philippines, in compliance with Philippine Government Proclamation No. 297 of July 2023 that lifted the state of the COVID-19 health emergency, including the mask mandate and other COVID-19 protocols. Our passengers have the flexibility of choice to wear masks or not.

Passengers may still bring their own face masks to use when they travel, if they prefer. Please note that masks may still be required for some destinations based on the laws and requirements of other countries. For flights operated by Philippine Airlines’ codeshare partners, please check with our partner airlines about their respective mask policies.
All PAL aircraft are equipped with high-technology systems that continuously infuse fresh air across the cabin as well as HEPA filters that trap viruses, bacteria and other contaminants with 99.99% efficiency. The air flow system creates a cleaner environment that is safer than most enclosed public spaces and comparable to hospital operating rooms.

Unlike the application process for a US visa,

a Japan visa doesn’t require personal interview;

the Consul Office will make their decision purely based on the documents that you submit.

Based on my experience:

travel history,

evidence of return,

and good financial status are the most important criteria that the Consul considers.

A regular Filipino Japan tourist visa allows you to stay in Japan for maximum of 15 days on a single entry.

What are the documents to submit to increase the chances of your Japan visa approval?

🔸How much “show money” in your bank certificate.

The daily expenses in Japan as a tourist including your accommodation is approximately 10,000 jpy or Php 4,800 ( yen to peso exchange today. )

So, if mag stay ka for like 5days, I multiply mo nalang. 😉

If you are planning on going to expensive places like Tokyo Disneyland or Universal Studios Japan, better add Php 10,000 – 20,000 just to be sure.

🔸Travel history

Having a considerable number of passport stamps is very helpful;

this serves as evidence that shows you have returned back to your country after your travels.

🔸 Apply with a guarantor/sponsor.

Having a guarantor is actually very beneficial for visa applicant.

It’s like having insurance against the risks of applicant’s non-compliance with Japanese laws.

This is the reason why Consuls are always very happy to receive visa applications with guarantor.

Pag may lolo, lola,mama, papa, ate, kuya, tita, tito, friendship, boyfriend or girlfriend ka sa Japan,

ask them if they are willing to be your guarantor for the trip.

🔸 Neat visa application form.

You can get the form from the accredited agency.

Basta malinis at mabasa nila besh kere na.

🔸 If you’re a first timer, request for 15 days or less of stay.

If you really have to stay for more than 30 days in Japan,

then you’d better request for 90 days of stay instead.

Then provide supporting documents.

🔸 Complete all requirements and submit originals.

If your documents are complete and in order,

it would only take 2 to 3 business days to find out the result of your visa application.
