High school students in the Operation Breakthrough Ignition Lab get a chance to partake in various STEM projects and endeavors. Among those projects is the Bytes With Soul Food Truck. This truck and it’s operations has been developed from the ground up by the Culinary/Entrepreneurship Labs and their dedicated students. Look out for more updates to come about the food truck team, menu highlights, and the operations of the truck!

MEET THE CREW!!
One of the biggest challenges we faced at the beginning of this endeavor was developing a menu that is both healthy and soul food focused. Believe it or not, our first experiments in the kitchen started with funnel cakes, and we have now transitioned into producing more nutritional and well balanced meals for our customers. Our current menu includes balanced breakfast sandwiches and waffles/biscuits made with whole wheat flour. Additionally, each of our sandwiches are 500 calories or less!
