We even ventured around Rutledge to the top of the falls. The Cascades were pretty cool too

The kids were rock sliding at the Cascades. The ultimate fun time at the falls lately🤣🙌💚

✌🏻🙌 Now I can share it 🤣Since I'm pretty sure I went home and passed out last night after being up since 4am. Amicalola Falls didn't disappoint💚 Another one checked off. Cool fact: The 8 mile trail that winds past the falls and leads to Springer Mountain is the famous Southern terminus for the Appalachian trail! 😄 Amicalola Falls is one of the starting points. 🙌 We had kids in tow to take some pictures, even so we still had quite the long and tedius adventure of getting back to the parking lot. 🤣 😄Will go back via longer area trails to explore more of the southern Appalachia area.
