Btw, I say I don't ruin the plot of the movie. That's incorrect. I completely give away the plot of the movie.
If the world would be completely destroyed in 6 months, would you live differently? Would your values change? Would you take more risks or take radical action or completely change your social-economic status? In this episode I talk about a plethora of ideas, coming back to the thought that we are already on the path to change. I realized, during covid, that I did not act the way I wanted. I did not hoard toilet paper, but I operated out of fear. I didn't reach out and socialize how I wanted. Now, I'm changing that.
Did you act in a way that honoured your value system during covid? Would you have changed your behaviour? What is more important to you now than before?
I love to hear women talking about their visions for their babies and how they’re relating to the land and the changing seasons and how they envision to honor the land and build that relationship of reciprocity between the land and their babes.
It is always heavy on my heart to share my own “HOW”. How do I do it? What was my experience [with birth, breastfeeding, napping a baby - ALL THE THINGS]?
What things were hard for me?
God, my soul really craves this vulnerability, this authentic raw connection with women like just women who are open about their their struggles and willing to have that conversation with, like, what else is going on with their life besides business?
Today we are doing good. I've limited my instagram days to Mon/Tues/Wed and I find my motivation to create posts is boosted, my engagement with others is courageous and creative and I have made some incredible new connections with women local and not so local over the past month. Yay!!
This weekend we are taking the side off the crib and taking the table tray off the highchair. Yikes!! What a big step! I asked Forryst the other day if he's a big kid and says, no, he's a baby kid.
Tell me -- what is real-life for you right now, today? Are you beginning homeschool curriculum? Or finally have the house to yourself if your kids are in school? How are you honoring the change of the seasons for your own soul? for your family?
Sending you all my love, Amanda.
