1 x Destroyed Race Car .. when you hit the wall at 120klm this is the result.. to say it’s not how we wanted our night to end is an understatement.. the Old Fella is feeling it this morning but saying that managed to walk away with only aches and bruises.. time to do what racers do .. rip it apart, get the wallet out and rebuild 🙏😎💯💔😢🏁🚀🇦🇺

Last Saturday night the Q11 PowerSmart Solutions/ Monitored Security Solutions Compact Speedcar hit the high banks of Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway.. to say it was a frustrating night was an understatement.. had the fuel pump fail in heat 1, even though we managed to change it out for a new pump the heats were close together so we missed our 2nd heat meaning we started out of P9 for the Feature… The car was then back on song and we made our way up to 5th only 2.5 seconds behind the winner when the chequered flag dropped. The upside is the car went back in the trailer straight and apart from a wash and usual maintenance were ready to send it in Maryborough on the 2nd of December… Road Trip🙏💯😎🇦🇺🏁🚀

How I didn’t end up on my head is still a mystery 🙏💯😎🤣🤪😂
Here’s the positive side to the night … once we get the Angry Wasp sorted and hooked up anything is possible .. Early signs are promising 🙏💯😎🇦🇺🏁🐝🚀
We’ll I’m happy and disappointed all at once.. turns out that I discovered a leaking tyre valve and my right tyre went to 7lb before we got on the track to say it was a handful was an understatement, how I saved it on lap 1 into corner 3/4 is beyond me, straight away I new something weren’t right. The sad thing even with a flat right we were not that far off the pace .. The upside is the car went into the trailer straight and we live to fight another day, bring on the next meeting.. all in all a 4th from 9th, a 1st from 9th and a 7th in the feature I guess for our first hit out in a new car ain’t too bad 🙏💯😎🇦🇺🐝🏁🚀🤣
Well he finished 7th after saving the car and himself from landing on their heads, tyre issue found and both Dave and the car have survived to race again.
Always a good night when the car & Dave are in 1 piece😁😁😁😁
Stay tuned, Dave is out of position 2 for the feature…
Q11 has had its 1st heat WIN in a new class and Daves first competition of the season in Compacts. Dave started rear of field in both heats and finished 4th in the first heat and then 1st in the second heat.
Here’s hoping for a great result in the feature.

Well you will only understand this if you suffer from it, as I’ve got older and especially when I come off nights, I suffer from “Restless Legs”, it’s where your muscles tense up and won’t relax. It’s not like a cramp just an ache that doesn’t go away. So trying to sleep is a waste of time, which leaves only one thing to do .. prep the Q11 Powersmart Solutions, Monitored Security Solutions Compact ready for the high banks of Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway practice night. “My neighbours love me”…General Admission is only $10 with over 120 cars testing and tuning, so if your looking for cheap entertainment for the evening, look no further 🙏💯😎🏁🇦🇺🚀🐝
