Now that the grading rounds have concluded, it's time for the real action to begin! Game times for the upcoming matches are now available exclusively through the Basketball Connect app. If you haven't already, make sure to download the app from the App Store or Google Play to stay updated with all the latest game schedules and updates.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Download the App: If you haven't already, head over to the App Store or Google Play and download the Basketball Connect app.

2. Log In: If you've already got the app, great! Simply log in using your email address and password. If you haven't logged in yet, now's the time to do so. Ensure you use the same email address that was used to register your child.

3. Switch Profiles (if needed): For those with multiple people linked to a single profile, don't worry! You can easily switch between profiles by clicking on More > Switch Profile. This ensures you're viewing the schedule for the correct player.

📅 Tuesday Night Games: Exciting news! The game times for our Tuesday night fixtures have already been released on Basketball Connect. Be sure to check them out and mark your calendars! Fixtures for Friday night and Saturday games should be released in a day or two.

Keep an eye on your Team FB Group as your Manager will keep the team updated throughout the season.

We're super pumped for an exciting season ahead with 31 teams in the competition. We're especially proud to see our efforts to increase female participation in basketball paying off, with 2 all-girls WPK teams in every age group this season!

We have an amazing opportunity at Wellington Point Kings Basketball Club! We are looking for enthusiastic under-10 girls to join our club and help us form another fantastic team.

🏀 Winter Season 2024 – Important Info! 🏀

As we gear up for the 2024 Winter Season, we want to remind all our existing members to complete their re-registration. If you are not returning this season, please let our committee know as soon as possible. You can do this by reaching out to our registrations team at [email protected].

Here are the key dates to mark in your calendars:
Training Commences: Monday, 15th July (official training times to be announced once registrations are finalised)
Special Training Session: Wednesday, 10th July, 2-hour session at the Sports Centre, Redlands College (for teams with games starting on the 16th)

Game Days:
• 18s & 16s-Girls: Tuesday, 16th July
• 16s-Boys & 14s-div1: Friday, 19th July
• 10s, 12s & remaining14s: Saturday, 20th July

A timely reminder as we head into finals. Good luck to all teams competing for a medal.

Unfortunately, there have been several incidents this week involving spectators and coaches that have clearly violated our code of conduct.

For the upcoming finals week, we will be implementing a ‘zero-tolerance’ policy towards any similar behaviors, and spectators will be promptly asked to leave our venues without prior warning.

Our main focus is on ensuring the safety of our players, officials, and all individuals within our venues.

Our heads of judiciary, Steve and Brendan, will be present at the venues this week to oversee and aid in managing such behaviors.

Our Queen Ballers Program is in full swing and we are most excited to be hosting Jess McDowell-White for our next two sessions 😁

📍 Victoria Point High School: Park in the outside carpark and walk through the gate to reach the school hall where the games will be held.

📍 Redlands College: The court is located in M block, not the big stadium. Please use the front entrance of the school, and parking along the main road is recommended.

This Saturday Redlands PCYC are running an event and will have some areas of the carpark with restricted access (see below). The first two rows closest to foyer entry and part of the entry from Degen Rd will be not be available for parking or access. This is so trucks and other vehicles can turn around and set up for the event.

We would advise members to seek parking on Degen or Mt Cotton Rds.
