Each planet, with its general role in the horoscope!

Some planets are friends ,some are enemies and some are neutral .
How they behave with each other , where they are placed in the horoscope among other things will determine the positive /negative effects you feel in your life .

There are 9 planets (grahas), in Vedic astrology and 12 signs . Different planets rule different signs . Think of the signs(rashis) as the home to the planets . Each sign is 30 degrees long

Each year , a new house gets activated and for that 365 1/4 period , we would significantly feel the effects of that house.
For example, your first year will activate your first house , second year will activate second house etc .
Your first year is from the time you are born until your first birthday .

Tropical zodic is what we are familiar with , western astrology .
The sidereal is vedic astrology . And as you see, with a difference in Calculation the dates are approx 30 days different , give or take .
The galactic is an overal average .
