GILBERT FOR GOVERNOR!

02/06/2022

Excellent opportunity to speak with these candidates and ask questions!

11/05/2022

This is a video of the superintendent (CJ Anderson) at the April 26th trustee meeting. He stated that the average amount paid for "legal counsel" is $18,000 (this year) and that has increased due to FOIA requests.

That is not accurate. You decide if that false information was shared intentionally or by ignorance.
He said that he didn't go back "years and years". It's really easy to add up 12 invoices and average them. Not difficult.

Our School Board "legal counsel" makes of 7 times more than the surrounding counties. Surrounding county's "legal counsel" are paid under $40,000 per year and we, usually, pay over $20,000 per month.

Invoices will be in comments.

🚨🚨🚨

NOT A REQUIREMENT IF STUDENT WAS ENROLLED IN ANY NEVADA SCHOOL BEFORE 1 JULY, 2009.

Let's tackle this letter sent from ECSD...

Look at the 9th line down, "As of the 2022-2023 school year......must:"

The 3rd bullet point is mislabeled because it is NOT a MUST. It should have a line of its own "EXCEPTIONS" perhaps.....

"Note that this new requirement DOES NOT APPLY to students enrolled in the Nevada public, private, or charter school before July 1, 2009."

So if your student was enrolled in ANY NEVADA school before 1 July, 2009 this is NOT a requirement.

To my knowledge there is also the option for a religious exemption which is a simple form that you can sign in any school office. It's that's simple.

Nevada County Gives Dominion the Boot, Votes Unanimously to Return to Hand-Counted Paper Ballots

Captain Seth Keshel broke the news on his Telegram tonight, posting, “Nye County, Nevada, first in America to vote (unanimously, today, 5-0) to ban use of electronic voting machines, beginning in primaries. Secure paper ballots with anti-counterfeit measures to be used henceforth. It only takes a spark to start a whole blaze.”

“With the paper ballots, hand-counted at the precinct level, decentralized — we're going against what the forces want,” Jim Marchant, a Republican candidate for secretary of state, told the board. “They want centralized [systems] so they can manipulate it. So if we go against that and get back to decentralized … that's how we're going to guarantee that we have a fair and transparent election,” the deep left Nevada Independent reported.

Lyon County commissioners soon could also be considering similar election changes to those proposed in Nye County. Though no similar items appear on the agenda for the county commission’s Thursday meeting, Republican Commissioner Debra Strickland said she believed Lyon County would be doing the “same thing” on March 17.

Nationwide, Republican lawmakers in at least six states (NH, AZ, CO, MO, WA, and WV) have introduced legislation that would require all election ballots to be counted by hand instead of machine, according to the Associated Press.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Luc Ge**er did NOT ban Nicole from Luciano's.

That was done by whoever hired Rob Salyer.

Considering the other properties are Dreez, Telescope, Blind Onion and so on... I think we can make an educated guess as to who it was.

It was NOT Luc Ge**er. Please do not go after him.

I believe ALL of our kids are out of masks! 🥳🥳🥳

Now it needs to stay this way!

I know CJ Anderson was working hard to make this happen. I appreciate his efforts.

27/02/2022

So what are the real numbers in the schools that are still masking our kids?

Update on the "state-mandated testing for all students".

This VP called to tell me that my “perception” of the ACT testing was not what they communicated and that the testing is optional.

Eventually he admitted that they made a mistake and they would correct it in the future, but they will NOT be sending out corrected information to parents and students.

Why not send out corrected information when they ADMITTED to putting out incorrect information??? He said he didn’t have the power to put out the corrected information. He said Wickersham had that power but he was not available due to “business engagements”. Wickersham is at the Championship basketball game. It doesn’t take more than quick, “send out corrected information.” Why is that so difficult?

What is wrong with this administration that they are not only reluctant to admit when they are wrong but FLAT OUT REFUSE to correct their mistake! And these are the people over the education of our students!?

25/02/2022

This is a lie!!! The ACT is NOT a "state-mandated test"!!

The only students that need to take this test are Seniors, if they didn't take it as a Junior.

The question we need to ask is WHY LIE??

Ignorance or malfeasance?

Got this from Commissioner Rex Steninger and I’m passing on to you guys!

Facebook censorship has reached the liberty loving Americans in the Elko community, according to Rex Steninger, president of the Nevada Lands Council. He explained his group has scheduled a free showing of the documentary “Rock Mountain Heist” this Saturday at Machi’s Bar and Grill and, in an effort to publicize the event, NLC tried to place an advertisement on Facebook. The ad was rejected and an appeal of the rejection was also denied.
“If that can happen to the NLC in little ol’ Elko, just think about the larger picture,” Steninger pointed out. “What is happening across Nevada in this important election year in which we have an opportunity to replace a governor who has abused his authority by violating our constitutional rights? What is happening across our nation in a year when we are hoping for a Red Wave to rid ourselves of the dictatorial rule of Democrats? And what is happening worldwide in a year where we have witnessed horrible tyranny on display in places like Australia and Canada?”
“Rocky Mountain Heist” details the successful efforts of three millionaires and one billionaire to turn the once solidly conservative state of Colorado into the reliably liberal state it is today. Democrats hail the “Colorado Blueprint” as a way to take over other conservative states.
NLC is showing the film in an effort to fight back against the tactic and keep this corner of Nevada from following in the footsteps of Clark County that has become a Democrat stronghold and even Washoe County, where Democrats have made big gains.
“We cannot allow this censorship to succeed,” Steninger added. “We cannot sit by quietly while it happens. We have to actively object to the censorship and support the programs that are being censored.”
“I hope the Elko media responds by reporting on this censorship and I hope the citizens of Elko County respond by attending our Saturday event. In a perfect world, we will receive more publicity for our event from the Facebook censorship than we would have received from the Facebook ad,” he added.
Locally, the Free Press and Ruby Radio have been very supportive in publicizing the event, he concluded.
“Rocky Mountain Heist” is scheduled to show at Machi’s Café and Grill from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. The showing is free and light snacks will be available. A no-host bar also will be in operation.

UPDATE ON REDISTRICTING:

I had a conversation with Anderson. I will paraphrase that conversation and do my best to relay as much information as I can:

If they don't redistrict now they have to wait another 10 years. With that being said that doesn't mean that it is NOT off of the table.

He sent me the maps of the preliminary redistricting. I will get that out as soon as I can. (Been quite busy and haven't been able to get to it)

He let me know that he did an interview with the radio station and mentioned the redistricting during that interview. (If anyone caught that feel free to share it here)

Anderson said that he spoke to Teresa and that they may consider delaying the action due to it being so last minute, taking into account the lack of trust between the community and ECSD.

10/02/2022

🚨🚨🚨🚨
I'm waiting to hear back from ECSD for details.

I spoke to the County Clerks office and was told that ECSD is planning on doing some redistricting of the precincts of the Elko County School Districts.

The deadline is March 7th. No special meeting has been had, to my knowledge, for the school board to have discussed this.

Anyone aware of this ever being on an agenda?

Update: I have confirmed that it has never been put on agenda.

Photos from Parents of Elko County's post 05/02/2022

In order for your kids to play sports you have to sign and agree to this. I would never sign or agree to this. My kids would be losing scholarships if they were offered. Not worth it.

23/01/2022

Hey EDFP, I'm truly not sure why you think "media" reporting trumps the CDC. Is that only when it suits your agenda? Don't you guys "trust the science".....

I have an idea.... pick a lane. Stay in it. Trust the CDC or trust the media... pick one.

Link for the full article will be in comments. With that headline and how the article is written I don't even want to share it, but hey....they're choosing to show their true colors. Might as well let them shine. 🤷‍♀️

We are looking for any questionable school work that has come home.
Teachers if you have been given questionable material to use as curriculum or direction for curriculum.

21/06/2021

We tried speaking to Jim Cooney about our concerns with the superintendent. He only offered lip service and not so much as a confirmation or a received email. It has now been shared with the rest of the Board and you. More to come.

21/06/2021

We want to with the School Board. It seems that some of the School Board members aren't interested in working with us. That's fine. We can do things the hard way.

18/06/2021

We will start having guest speakers educate parents on topics after our June 21st meeting. The first speaker will be Rachel Abramowitz Esq. a New York attorney I work with and we deal a lot with the civil rights department and department of justice. She will educate parents and guardians on how to file ADA complaints (Americans with Disability Act). You’ll see why this is important on our June 1st meeting.
Please join Parents of Elko County Facebook group for the zoom link or the in person address for our June 21st 6:30pm meeting
