Schoolboys in year 10 and 11 are invited to attend our open trials for the 2024 under 16s squad.

Trials will take place for those in South Wales in January, with a seperate trial for North Wales and heritage players to be announced in the New Year.

What a superb effort from everyone. All year led up to this last game and it was clinical fair play. A total of 184 points scored with 38 against, what a year.

During this hot weather, many people playing sports or exercising on harder surfaces are experiencing a new foot pain.

Plantar fasciitis is caused by straining the part of your foot that connects your heel bone to your toes (plantar fascia).

It's not always clear why this happens.

You may be more likely to get plantar fasciitis if you:

•are 40 to 60 years of age
•recently started exercising on hard surfaces
•exercise with a tight calf or heel
•overstretch the sole of your foot during exercise
•recently started doing a lot more walking, running or standing up
•wear shoes with poor cushioning or support

Static stretches can combat pain and start the rehabilitation of this.

Just some advice for all you out there.
