Morning stacking challenge 🧡

When you wake up with a stacking challenge from (thank you for sharing it with me🥰) and you have 15 spare minutes, you have to try it! 😄

Happy I was able to stack it! Not as easy as it seems, but there is this magical point where it just balances right, and you feel amazing! ☺️

And I was super excited because I got this set less than a week ago! I couldn’t find it in Spain (sold out) and so I ordered from in Germany and it was great! Super happy! 😄

Will you try it?

(I still need to finish my cornerstone wall 😅)

Happy playing! 🌟

💜💕She took a Stapelstein + Sarah’s Silk and made a bed for her doll ☺️

Sweet dreams Dozy Dinkum ✨

Check out their sweet ride 🚕

We paired our Zonky playsofa with the Stapelsteins and just like that we had a car in our living room😄 They needed to take Pip (Dozy Dinkum) to the doctor ☺️ I just love the stories they come up with!

Stapelsteins were perfect wheels, and seats - just great! Another way to play with them ☺️

Happy playing! 🌟

Lady Christmas 🎄

Oh the Christmas spirit! 🥰 I had to make her 😜 I used Grimm’s semicircle and base from the Play by the water set, and I went all happy with Grapat mandala bits, some LSP cubes, and stars 🌟

Who should I make next? Which colours? 🫶

Wishing you all had a lovely day ✨

Easy setup with a square road ☺️ Simple, but successful play invitation 😄

It took less than 5 minutes to set up: I put the road together and just put what I had at hand, a Stapelstein lake with some Grapat coins, a Stapelstein mountain, some trees, some Grimms boards and the colourful Lolas were the inhabitants of this small world ☺️

You don’t need much time to set something like this 😄 You can do it!
The square is made with Waytoplay roads: 8 straights and 4 intersections

If you don’t know what to do, make a square and populate it! 😄

Happy playing! ☺️✨

An afternoon with Cuboro 💛

“What happens if I do this? Why doesn’t the marble reach where I want? Should I try this? This doesn’t work… why not? Oh, maybe this will help… “
☺️ These are the type of things I heard my son (5yo) say yesterday afternoon when he was inventing this ball run with three towers with Cuboro - I just love it!

It clearly makes him think and ask questions. It involves creativity, and problem-solving. Concentration and precision are also very important as well. We are so happy we have Cuboro because it helps him with many skills and in so many levels. 💛 And it is an ageless toy, we all enjoy it, big and small 💛

Have you tried it?

Happy playing! 🌟

Hello Jellyfish!! ❤️

Making animals with Grimms semicircles and decorating them with Grapat loose parts is a favourite in our house ☺️

Which animals should we try next? 😉

Beautiful color sorting 💚💛❤️💙 (➡️swipe to see the other colours)

I loved helping my children learn the colours with color sorting games like this. This is one of my alltime favourites ☺️

Use the Grimm’s Rainbow and Semicircles to create the colour bases/baskets (not sure how you would call them 😜). And then ask them to pick toys from the playroom and place them in their most similar colour - or pre-select toys and put them in a basket so they sort those out🥰

We played and shot these pictures a few years back, but for those of you with little ones learning colours, I thought it might be helpful 😄

Happy playing! (& learning 😉)🌟

Trying out a new way to store the roads ☺️ I’ve always kept them in their original box… but then they are not used as much!

So I’ll be leaving them out like this this week 😉 Let’s see how it goes!

😄

I have to admit I am a bit excited! ☺️❤️

Happy playing!

Stapelstein + Oppi Stix fun ✨💕

We had one of my daughters’ friends over and we had out the pastel Stapelsteins and the Oppi Stix… this is just a bit of what they did ☺️ They are 8 🌟

Sometimes people may think that their child is too old for a toy - but from my experience, mine keep playing and using them in different and new ways. The novelty factor also plays a part - when it is new, or they haven’t seen it in a while, or it might contribute to why they might not play with something at home, but they may play with it when they go to a friends house.

Just some random thoughts, on a Monday morning, with gifting season in the horizon… thinking about which toys should we give, and which should we keep… because we can’t add more if we don’t make room for them first.
What are your thoughts on which toys to keep and which to give?

Thank you for gifting us these .original and ! We are loving them, and they spark so much creativity together! ✨

We gifted grandma some Lego Daffodils and had to make a vase for them 🥰

(isn’t it wonderful how versatile the Grimm’s pyramid is?)

Happy Friday! 🌟

Moluk world of fun! ❤️

I love that if you add some new Tulu to the mini Bilibos you can create cars (or carriages) for the Oogis 😄 And they go perfectly on the roads! How cool is that? 😄

Thank you for gifting us some Tulus and new Bilibos ! We are loving them! 💚💛

Sunday mornings - he was using our Connetix rectangles to count ☺️

After seeing what he was doing, I left some wooden counters with numbers nearby and he matched them with the column of tiles ☺️

Colorful play invitation 🥰

Have you tried placing the roads on colorful playsilks? ☺️ It grasps their attention and is the landscape for worlds only they can imagine 😊

You can also use colorful card, blankets, sheets, or different materials and step back and watch what they do. This is just the start 😉 (or maybe they are not into it and will go do something else 😅 Be prepared. Anything can happen 🤣)

Wishing you all a lovely Saturday! 🌟

*Some silks and roads have been kindly gifted by the brands over the years ❤️ Thank you & ✨ We are loving them! 🧡

Dining chair for our Dozy Dinkum ☺️

My son came up with this one 🥰 He was worries that his Pip could not sit and eat with us… so he made him this chair our of Connetix 🥰 (It was adorable to watch)

If you don’t have doll gear (chairs, beds, pushchair…), why not make it out of Connetix? ☺️

He also thought it needed a toy, and gave Pip his green friend 💚

I find that my boy also enjoys playing with dolls - but we needed to get him one first ☺️ After feeding his Pip he went back to his cars and puzzles. There is time for everything ❤️🌟

Happy playing! 🌟

Solar system morning! ☀️🌎🌕🪐

My daughter is learning about the solar system in school and we couldn’t help ourselves on this slow morning ☺️ My husband is fascinated by space, and wanted to reproduce the distance of planets in scale 😉

We used a Stapelstein as the sun, and took our solar system model from for the planets. We placed Earth at a ruler’s length and determined that would be our Astronomical Unit. After that we places all the planets at their AU distance from the sun ☀️

Here you have them, in case you want to try it out at home:
- Mercury 0.4 AU
- Venus 0.7 AU
- Earth 1 AU
- Mars 1.5 AU
- Jupiter 5 AU
- Saturn 10 AU
- Uranus 19 AU
- Neptune 30 AU

And a cool question if your children are multiplying: if the light of the sun takes 8 minutes to reach Earth, how long will it take to reach Saturn which is 10 AU away? And the rest of planets? 😉

Wishing you all a nice Sunday! 🌟

*Thank you for gifting us the Stapelsteins! They are sooo useful! 😄❤️

Hello Timio! 💚 Welcome to our home! 💚✨

We are loving it! We were kindly gifted the Timio player and disks by the brand yesterday and my son was drawn to it immediately! Thank you! 💚 I wish we had gotten it sooner.

I can see it would have been great to have as a 3 or 4 year old 🧡

He found a dinosaur disk and went to the bookshelf and pulled out his Usborne book to see if he could find the dinosaurs on the disk 💙💚🦕🦖 I took out our dinosaurs as well and he started playing with as well ✨

My eldest, now 8, is now enjoying it as well. She is changing languages and learning colours in French and German ❤️ Really cool! ✨

I know we’ll learn a lot with it and will keep them entertained as well! Happy days! ✨

Stacking some Piks 😄

How high can you go? It’s fun placing different height Piks at each level and just seeing we high we can go ☺️ I like putting the Piks in a Stapelstein as a basket and leaving next to it the wooden pieces.

Stacking is just one of the many things you can do with them ☺️ We’ll be sharing more ways to play 😉 Any requests?

Kindly gifted by Bixxs and loving them! ☺️ Thank you! 🧡🌟

Happy playing!

Hello Sumblox!

These are so cool and so lovely to manipulate. Each number is carved in wood and has the height of its number. If you were to stack a 2 and a 3 it would be the same height of number 5.

They will be so useful this year! It is good for additions and subtractions, but also multiplications and divisions. For stacking, for counting, and for creating stuctures and patterns.

So far… the basics. Counting and stacking 😉 (swipe to see). More to come!

These were kindly gifted to us by .bcn 🧡 Gracias! We are loving them!

Cuteness alert! I’m sorry, they were just too cute not to share 🥰

I was at Maison&Objet in Paris this week and got to meet the lovely team from and see and touch their dolls and they are simply adorable! They are as soft and cute as they look!

I couldn’t help myself and had to bring some back home with me to sleep and play with our Pips 😊

What I love about them is that they can be gender neutral, and both my daughter and my son enjoy them ☺️

Thank you for letting me play! Safe travels back home! ☺️

Hello Butterfly 🦋 Where will you fly off to? ☺️

We got some new products from Oppi last week - the Stack and the Stick - they are just lovely. Ideal for 2 year olds but my almost 8 year old daughter had a lot of fun stacking and creating with them.

We used some Piks as antenae and created it on a Stapelstein base - the pastel colours are a perfect match 💕 - our butterfly is ready to fly away!

Thank you Bixx for the lovely gifts! 🧡 They are so great!

Happy playing! 🌟
