The Underground Yoga Society is officially OPEN! We couldn't be more excited to connect with our yogi tribe in person- where we come together to breathe, move, learn, grow, laugh, heal, and create this new 5D Earth πŸ’«

We kicked off our grand opening with a sound healing workshop last night with our good friend Stephanie (she doesn't have instagram- but we can share her info!) We are so thankful for each and everyone of you who showed up and shared this night with us. The night was full of yoga, meditation, and ended with an amazing sound bath experience. You could feel the energy being released throughout the entire room and our chakras are still moving in circles ✨

We've been dreaming of opening our own studio together since approached in 2012 saying it would be amazing to open a wellness center together. moved to San Diego and let the dream go, focusing on her nutrition solo career- but never let the vision die. She kept the dream strong for both of us and when retiring from Liberty Mutual at 23 she was determined to make this happen. When COVID happened and Yogi Laurens became a thing knew there was no way she couldn't be involved in this- we were meant to do this together πŸ™πŸ»

After 10 years of dreaming we are finally making it happen! The Underground Yoga Society is a place where we see so much potential to bring people together and create this new world. We will be hosting weekly classes, fun events like sound healings & reiki yoga, programs, full moon ceremonies, workshops & so much more! This is just the beginning.

Officially at the age where I don't actually know how old I am - 33? No 32- wait 31? And I love every minute of it. Thank you to everyone who reached out, hung out, celebrated, brought balloons, left surprises, and rung in 32 at the club where we realized how old we actually are 🀣 (still not understanding the mom Jean thing) I am beyond lucky to have so many amazing people in my life that I get to call friends. My life wouldn't be complete without each and everyone of you! Heres to fully embracing that 32 is the new 18, as I feel healthier, happier, and have more of a sense of connection and love than I have ever felt in my life. How you age is a mental perception - 32 years down at least 88 to go!

Fear is a crazy thing. It can stop you dead in your tracks and physically paralyze you. It can stop you from doing, creating, or obtaining your biggest dreams. It can make you do things you never thought you would do. It can prevent you from becoming your highest self. But on the other side of fear is passion, excitement, happiness, and love. Everything you ever wanted is on the other side of fear.

I overcame a lot of fear this past week. With the help and pushes from we ran our first yoga retreat - in which I was fearful of failing and it was the exact opposite. She also has pushed us to start our own business which I may have not done before because of fear of what people might think. Some people on our retreat has never done yoga before and were fearful of doing it wrong, in which they overcame that belief system. Some people pushed through their fear of heights. Some pushed passed their fear of not being able to take on the difficulty of the hike or fitness level. Together we hiked through the narrows and the top of angels landing - in which I think we all were a little fearful of falling off and succumbing to death or straight up breaking an ankle - but we overcame and were exhilarated by the views. We may all have different fears, but we all do have fear. And it is time to stop letting fear control our lives. It is important to lean into the discomfort, lean into the changes, and lean into the squeeze of transformation. Because when we gave our fears we raise our vibration. When we open our hearts to unconditional love, rather than being riddled by fear - we evolve.

I have tried different cleanses, detox, or resets yearly for about the last 5 years. I find it a fantastic way to clear out impurities, revive my energy, and reset my mind. WE Booked our SPRING RETREAT for June 2021 and let's just say it's going to be EPIC!

We should be in Italy next week, but instead of wollowing in self pity we transformed that energy and made BIG things happen.
