For those of you who don’t know, when we closed a year ago it was due to a move for our family. We relocated to warmer weather and more accessible nature, and had a much needed break from the craziness of life.

But we’ll soon be rebranding and reopening … in South Carolina! We hope you’ll come visit when we do if you’re in the area. Watch this page for updates to our name, location, and expanded menu etc in the coming months.

We are SO SORRY everyone, we got a new generator last week and it has decided it no longer wants to cooperate so we WILL NOT be remaining at Halfpenny tonight. We are working on borrowing a generator for Friday to make sure Goosetown Station in Golden goes ahead.

URGENT!! If you placed a frozen order for us this week and have NOT heard back, please resend your inquiry via our website, and comment here so we can check for it. We have had a couple of customers adamant then sent orders but they didn't come through, so we want to be sure we didn't miss anyone.

Heads up, when it comes to our deserts, lamingtons can be frozen up to 1 month. Vanilla slice must be refrigerated and eaten within 2 days and cannot be frozen.

BREAKING NEWS!!!

As of the end of September, The Colorado Meat Pie Company food truck will be closing our doors for good at our Colorado locations. We are thankful for each and every one of our customers, and the venues we frequent, you inspired us to do what we love. It's time for us to move closer to nature, take a break, and determine our best pie strategy moving forward. We are not done making pies just yet…. Just spreading the love further.

Over the next few days we'll let you know our last locations, and how to order frozen pies to stock up for those cravings in the months to come. We're also looking at the required licensing to ship our pies, and will be posting a link to a mailing list sign up in case you'd like to be notified if/when we do, as well as news when we set up in our new location. (Maybe you’ll still find us someday on your travels)

So be sure to come out and enjoy that delicious flaky crust, and tasty fillings, with a dessert to finish it off, over the next week or so. We'd love the chance to say farewell in person. Thank you again for each and every one of you who has made this journey great.
