The best time to hunt for natural materials is after the storm. The heavy wind Saturday night knocked quite a bit of the fresh, willow branches down. These branches are going to make a lovely handles! Once these dry, they will be ready to turn into lovely basket.

How lovely is this basket a customer brought into the store I work at yesterday. It was gifted to her by a friend who made it. That woven gods eye is beautiful!

State fair entries are done. I am pretty happy with how these both turned out. I love the natural Willow handles on them.

Just finished this sweet little basket for the “miniature basket” category for state. How big is it? One day old chick big ;-)
