Rob Gage Memorial.
This hopes to serve as a place where those who loved Rob can post photos and happy stories, to keep his memory alive.
Remembering you today and every day.
Please note that we, Rob’s family, did not remove his page and have no idea who removed it or how it was removed. This is very upsetting to us, as I know it’s upsetting to many of his friends. Thank you for your kind words as we near the Anniversary of his passing.
Happy Birthday Rob. You are missed every day.
Missing you on this 3rd Anniversary. Thank you for all the love and support, dear friends.
RIP Prince Philip
Happy Birthday Rob. Hope you are having a Dr Pepper today. We miss you!

Rob...acting. Great look! For those who dont know, this is from Rob's screen debut in "Lightning, the White Stallion," with Mickey Rooney and some French girl whose character could supposedly ride better than Rob. This is his reaction to learning this. The best line in the whole film is when she wishes him luck. His response, "When you're as good as I am, you dont need luck!" I have watched that scene over and over again.
Rob receiving his Rolex and with Sylvester Stallone.
Rob, you are very missed.
What a fabulous photo. Forgive me for not crediting the photographer, but I dont know who took this.
This is Rob on Sage. Thank you to Kathy Hobstetter for finding this wonderful image.
Lauren did the best thing she could do to honor Rob today...she went riding. Thank you so much to Michelle and Alex for inviting Lauren and her niece over to ride. It was just what she needed.
Today is the one year anniversary of the passing of Rob Gage. His family would love any photos or stories you may wish to share. Thank you all for your kind words. It's so wonderful to see that Rob was loved by so many.
Rob and Largo
Rob loved teaching his students. Here he is training his niece, Abbey, on Lauren's horse, Cotton (a former US Team horse).
Rob at the World Cup Finals, with Prince Phillip. He had good memories of this event and kept this trophy... Lauren still has it and cherishes it.
Lauren and Rob visited France in 2017. While Rob was acting as Chef d'Equipe for the Venezuelan Olympic team, Rob helped train in Germany and Spain, as well.
Rob Gage and Carol Dean Porter... founders (along with Noelle King) of Judge My Ride and long time friends. Both Rob and Carol passed away this year. Lauren remembers: Whenever a Dodger game was on the radio, they would text back and forth. Rob and Carol both loved the Dodgers.
