So chicks in brooder box with heat lamp
The box is all insulated
I put a thermometer under the light it’s on about 37
I also have one away from the light it’s on about 30-32
They can get away from the heat if they want

But there dying had 14 die in the past 4 days it’s like some aren’t eating they just lay and die
Is it cos mum not there to show them what to do
If I pick them up and take them to the water they drink

I’m thinking they might be better under mums this rate 🐣🐣🐣🐣

Or am I doing something wrong
I’m not use to the heat lamp method

So not a globe keeping them warm it’s more of a fan heated one

I don’t want to use a heat lamp as one set on fire years ago and I nearly burnt the house down
And I don’t think the heat plate will be enough atm

What camera I can put in my chooks shed area but it’s far away from the internet so just something to video then I can play back

So I bought a pup from Melbourne
Had to get him from the owner to the airport about a 2 n half hour trip
So got recommend by the people who booked the flight for him to use this company
So called the pet transport company up
Yep they can do it $300
That’s pick up and drop of to the airport

So they Picked him up about 8.30am
He text me when he got to the airport at 11.00 saying all Paper work good for a 12.00 flight (which he was already booked on) so prob say boarding about 11.20 ish

About 11.10 he text saying that the pup had pooped in his cage before boarding so he can’t go on the flight
So the transport guy said he had already left and there was 10 mins left to bored and he can’t make it back to clean him as the airport staff don’t do it and they won let him fly

So he then said he will have to arrange for someone to go back and he will now have to got on the next flight at 2.30

So this is a 8 weeks old pup that’s had nothing to eat since midnight the night before cos they said not to feed him

Now this transport company wants to charge me another $70 for having to go back

To me he should have stayed there till the pup actually got on the plain
Cos it was only about 30 mins from him dropping him off and boarding the plane

I’m so annoyed now he’s texting for the money

To me he should have stayed there as I paid 300 for a service
