Some things can add up! Look for ways to improve your fitness and nutrition in small ways during your day!
Results are great but you need regular consistent actions to get there. Imagine how your life could change after going to the gym every week for a year!
However you can't just have thrilling visions or clear goals. In order to reach your goal, you need to you need to build certain skills to build those skills you need to do certain practices regularly to make those practices, manageable and consistent, you need to break them down into small steps.
Never forget the road is just as important as the destination. You get to your destination by taking one step at a time. ;)
If you don't know where to start, find people to help you along the way!

Most of the time we assume we have to eat "clean foods," only drink water, and never cheat. The problem is, this kind of diet or way of eating isn't sustainable for most people. Do you plan on going for the rest of your life without eating a slice of pizza ever again? More than likely that isn't the case.
The most sustainable diet is the one that includes the foods you love while also eating good high quality whole foods! You can eat the foods like pizza and ice cream in moderation and still see progress on the scale!
If you want help learning how to do this for yourself, send a DM my way! I help lots of people learn about food and how to have moderation in their diet while still progressing towards their goals!
I got a lovely testimonial from a client who just finished up coaching with me! She is 47+ pounds down and worked so hard to achieve her goals! So proud of you Christina!
You should never have to eat foods, let alone veggies that you hate! Just because you are trying to lose weight or go on a "diet" doesn't mean that what you eat has to be bland and gross!
Find healthy whole foods that you love and enjoy. If you are incorporating more vegetables into your diet, choose the ones you actually enjoy!
Motivation is unreliable.
It comes and goes. We can't depend on it.
That's why it is so important to focus on forming practices, habits, and repetition, along with systems like planning and preparation.
Motivation usually comes after action….. not before!
The more you act, the more motivated you'll be. The more you have systems, processes, and routines to help yourself act, the more you can do it. Just like the snowball effect, the more you take action the more motivated you'll feel and the more you'll act!
Nobody is perfect! We all make mistakes and "fall off the wagon" sometimes. It's a part of life and happens to all of us!
What might surprise you is that you don't need to put 100% of your effort to get results. Even a 10% effort can move you forward!
If you practice a skill just a tiny bit each day you won't notice the difference at first but after a month, two months, or three months, you notice you are getting better! Maybe you are able to improve the difficulty of the skill. Like learning how to do a handstand! If you practice how to do one during a 1-hour gymnastics class and then never return; more than likely you won't be able to do a handstand after one gymnastics class. However, if you practice holding one against a wall for 2 minutes every day, little by little your body begins to learn to hold up your own body weight and maybe even balance for a few seconds without the wall. You continue to practice and 6 months later you can hold a free handstand for a full 20 seconds!
You probably get the idea. An all-or-nothing mindset won't ever help you! Something is always better than nothing!
If you want more details on any of these myths feel free to drop them in the comments or send a DM!
Just a friendly reminder that we are all on our own personal journeys.
We will all come across obstacles and times in life when things will not be going our way. If you have a goal or destination in mind of where you want to be, learn to enjoy the process of getting there.
Be patient with yourself when things don't happen overnight. Goals take a lot of time and effort to achieve! At the end of the day keep your dreams in sight, but remind yourself that it's ok to be where you are right now.
Keep going and working hard and enjoy the ride as it brings you closer to your goals! :)

Sometimes we may feel guilty taking time to recover, by sleeping, doing something we enjoy, or taking time away from being around others. Some of us may feel like we don't need it while others feel that they don't have time.
I am here to tell you that it is okay and good for you to make sure you get enough sleep, rest, recover and take the time you need to recharge!
