The International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS) World Games 2022 will get underway in Vila Real de Santo Antonio, Portugal, from Friday (25 November), featuring nearly 500 of the world’s best and up-and-coming Para athletes with physical impairments.

500 athletes from 35 countries will compete for medals in para athletics, para swimming and para weightlifting at the World Games from November 26-28 ☺️

The 2022 IWAS World Games will be held in Vila Real de Santo Antonio, Portugal from the 23rd – 29th November 2022. The sports proposed to be carried over onto the new 2022 Games programme are athletics, CP Football and swimming, with the new addition of powerlifting.
Just nine days until hundreds of Para athletes get their IWAS World Games 2022 journey underway!
