Hi Dighton!! Check your doors! Scouts from Troop 45 and Pack 45 have been put out tags to let you know we’re collecting food for families in need! Leave your food out next Saturday and we’ll be by to collect it!

Thank you for all of the goodies brought to us by our local Bear's Den Scouts from Pack 45 tonight. Ptlm. Kuczewski was able to talk to the young scouts and their parents about the things that police do everyday and answer any questions that they had. They were taken on a tour of our station and it seemed like they all enjoyed their visit. We know we did!

Great job to Pack 45, Troop 45B and Troop 45G for helping to clean up Brook Street! They collected 2,708lb of trash from one street in 2 hours!!! Not only did they make their community look better, they also helped Save the Bay because Dighton is part of the Narragansett Bay watershed! Thank you Scouts!!

Pack 45 joined our friends at DBSL to help with field clean-up! Way to go Scouts!!

Hers some info for everyone joining us for community service tomorrow!

**Spring Clean Up tomorrow!!

We hope everyone is excited to begin the baseball and softball seasons! We certainly are, but there is still a lot of work to do.

We are hosting our Spring Field Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 9, starting at 9am. We humbly ask for your time and your help, even if you can only spend an hour or two with us.

Coaches - Please encourage your kids and parents to join you on Field Cleanup Day!

(Hopefully we will not need it, but our rain date is the following Saturday, April 16. We will notify by 8am on the 9th if we postpone)

Below is a list of tasks we are hoping to tackle on Saturday (with likely more to be added):

1 Rake leaves, all fields, common areas
2 Set up batting cages
4 Clean out Kitchen
5 Hang up signs & Banners
6 Clear trash behind shed
7 Clean and stock bathrooms
8 Fix ruts in field
9 Rake fields and add stone dust if needed
10 Sweep and organize upstairs area

We would also like to ask you bring the following clothing, supplies and equipment if you are able to do so:

- Rakes
- Gloves
- Boots
- Leaf Blowers
- Step ladders
- Power washers
- Sponges
- Cleaning chemicals (for kitchen area)

Don't forget to check in with our Treasurer, Chad Ryan, upon arriving for your volunteer credit.

Pack 45 had a great camp out this weekend!! It was so nice to finally be able to camp together. Special thanks to the Scouts from Troop 45 B & Troop 45 G for spending your day with our little cubs and teaching them all about fire safety, knot safety, knot tying and tent pitching. We also loved the cooking demonstration with some camp donuts, Dutch oven pizza and cookies in a box!

Happy Graduation Day to Pack 45!!! It was so wonderful to celebrate all the Scouts have achieved over this wild and crazy year. And we were able to donate our leftover goodies to the local Police Station!!

Pack 45 Gear, Supporting Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America Pack 45 gear is a helpful way to have a uniform that can be used for fun activities and promote our pack!! Pack 45 has been an important part of the Dighton community and continues to help our children grow and learn about scouting!!

It’s Pinewood Derby Day!!! This is our first Pack event since our Pinewood Derby in February 2020! Can’t wait to see all of you!
