The current generation of children needs to be literate in technology to be competitive in the future job market. Not knowing how to code will be comparable to not knowing how to read.
Teamwork:
Learning coding for kids at a young age facilitates problem-solving in a group setting. This is a fundamental skill that students will rely on in the future as they work collaboratively with others. This also develops their communication skills as they present their ideas to the group.
Problem Solving:
Coding isn’t just about teaching how to type lines of code. It is more about teaching children how to think differently. Children can solve a large problem by breaking it down into smaller pieces to solve it in their own creative way.
Creativity:
Coding and robotics programming empower kids to not only consume digital technology, but to create it. Instead of simply playing a video game or using an app, they can make their own video game or website to express themselves.
