Messianic Believers in New Plymouth

Messianic Believers in New Plymouth

Messianic believers are people that follow biblical interpretations, customs, and lifestyles.

We honor our Jewish roots and we use a more Jewish way to interpret scripture but fully acknowledge Y'shua (Jesus) as our Messiah and Savior.

Hi, I am so sorry that this video is late. It has been so busy. I was really hoping to have it finisihed by Passover, but alas, it is ready now.

Hope you love it and that it adds value and awe to your day.

Take care

Beresheet 1 The very first word of the Torah/ first 5 books of the Bible is a critical prophecy. It sets the scene for the entire Bible.

Why do I celebrate this beautiful feast? This feast is amazing because it reminds us that we become a Temple for the living YHWH (God) and now He dwells in our hearts.
Please share this article. I pray that Shavuot (Pentecost) can take its rightful place in your life and heart.
I mostly used content from Prof WA Liebenberg in his book Y’shua and the Seven Main Feasts of Lev 23 and I urge you to go to www.hrti.co.za for more factual and contextual information regarding Hebraic Roots. I will use the Hebrew names which are found in the original writings of the TaNaCh (The bible: Old Testament and New Testament).

Lev 23 instructs us to celebrate 7 main feasts, which includes our life on earth as well as the afterlife. These feasts were formalised 1500 years before our Messiah was crucified and they are critical in our understanding of the fulfilment of prophesy. I also want to highlight that when YHWH (God) instructs us to do something, its only to our own benefit to submit to His command.
Shavuot (Pentecost) is a special feast because this is when YHWH (God) blessed us with two incredible gifts that filled our minds and hearts:
1) He gave us the written Torah (first 5 books of Moses/ first 5 books of the Bible)
2) He gave us the Holy Spirit (Ruach Hakodesh) after the Messiah ascended to Heaven
See attached picture.
Shavuot (Old Testement) Exod 19 and 20 Pentecost (New Testament) Acts 2:1-19
One starts counting Shavuot in the following way: its Passover, then you have the 7th day Shabbat (Saturday) and then you start counting 50 days after the Shabbat. Y'shua rose from the dead - and 50 days later it was Pentecost
YHWH (God) gave Moshe the Torah on Mount Sinai YHWH (God) gave the disciples His Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit)
YHWH came down in the form of fire on Mount Sinai YHWH came down in the form of fire in upper room 50 days after Y’shua rose from the dead
613 Commandments are given to man YHWH gives us the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) to guide us along with the Torah (Bible)
Physical wheat harvesting on land Pentecost – start of spiritual ‘wheat harvest’ reaping ‘souls’ into heavenly storeroom
Israelites feared YHWH – changed from a nation of priests to a nation with priests Believers = Royal Priesthood if you reborn and living according to Torah

1500 years before the Messiah was crucified, the calculation formular to celebrate Shavuot was given to Moshe (Moses) on Mount Sinai. The chances of the Messiah being crucified in the exact alignment of both Pesach (Passover) and Shavuot (Pentecost) is improbable. This is not a chance occurrence for it to have lined up with two feasts 50 days apart. He was crucified by Pharisees that really hated Him (and would not have wanted this to be fulfilled) and Romans who were Pagans and knew nothing about these feasts. This could only have been orchestrated by YHWH (God). A God that is outside of time and our dimension and that could foresee the future.
Take a step back, and just allow your soul to absorb this information. Once you see how insanely brilliant this is, then realise, that the same God who is infinitely greater than our mere understanding of literally everything, put His Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) in each one of us. We have Him leading every one of us, every single second, every single day.

Please share this article. I pray that Rosh Hashanah (feast of trumpets) can take its rightful place in your life and heart. This is the Groom (Y’shua/ Jesus) and the bride’s (church) special holiday.
Its important to not be presumptuous when it comes to Y’shua (Jesus) and to rather ask what “did” Y’shua (Jesus) do.
Y’shua (Jesus) was an Israelite (Jew) and he followed the Jewish customs. Y’shua (Jesus) celebrated Rosh Hashanah every single year. He (Y’shua) after all instructed these feasts to be kept in Lev 23 ( Lev 23:23-25And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 24Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. 25Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD) and He was clear that these feasts will still be celebrated even in the time hereafter (after life). Matt 5:17-19 17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven
The 7 Feasts are critical for us as believers. If you have an Apple phone and you try and plug it into a Samsung charger, it is very likely not going to work and may even break. We need to see our Messiah as our charger. Surely He has a reason why He wants us to commemorate these special dates? Following these more meaningful feasts have changed my life, the way I see my Elohim (God). On numerous occasions He asks us to submit to Him. The feasts are one way in which I stepped down from my rebellion and ego (that part of me that clung to belief systems that made no sense and biblically had no foundation). I stepped into the glorious ‘charging’ station that my YHWH (God) created for me. I know now that His ways are not my ways and I praise Y’shua (Jesus) for that every day.
Y’shua, the Jew, would want you to join him at His table as he feasted and celebrated this Holiday. But why, did our redeemer celebrate this feast?
Rosh Hashanah is said to be the day that the Elohim (God) created the world and this is why we call this feast the Head of the year.
All the feasts are a ‘type’ (foreshadowing) of how Y’shua (Jesus) would fulfil the prophesy. Therefore the feasts in themselves are prophesies.
Prophecy of return of Y’shua:
1 Cor 15:51-52 51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Thess 4:16-17 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
This is such a special feast, a feast that reminds of us love. A love that is not ordinary, a love that remembers, a love that will safe us.
I will listen to the Shofar (the trumpet) and I pray that my Saviour (Y’shua) sees us and rescues us. May this feast be one of celebration, of love, and of faith

Please note that I use God’s original names as used in the original Hebrew scrolls which was then translated into the Bible, via several language, including English. For more information I urge you to read some of the free books I post from Prof. LW Liebenberg or you can also go to www.hrti.co.za

I have attempted to write this article several times the last few days but it has changed so drastically each and every time. Often the easiest subject matters are the hardest to convey. Today’s topic is one that is of vital importance because it can save lives. I cannot assume to know all there is about YHWH (God). If truth be told, I know very little, but I know enough to help a person from wondering down a path that may be laced with bad intentions. I often forget, but should always say, pray about it. YHWH (God) will always lead you to truth to help you grow.
I found myself in quicksand, in the dark of night: slipping away into a darkness that was consuming. I was desperate for anyone or anything to give me a lifeline to help to climb out of the misery that became my existence. I held onto what I presumed was god: the being that I was raised to believe in but had little to do with the bible itself. An almost made-up god, one that had very many interpretations based on whoever you spoke to. When I read the Bible it often did not correlate to the explanations that I received. I lost hope that god would save me; that god even loved me. I could not marry the two and eventually let that god go. I couldn’t move and I became scared and then thought that maybe this quicksand could become my friend. I played with it, knowing it was dangerous and powerful and thought it was the answer for someone like me, playing with spirits and principalities I had no business involving myself with… and then my Messiah came to fetch me, I could hear his voice and I could see the battle he fought for me… He got me out of the mess I got myself into and He washed me clean. I can not tell you how great it feels to be in His Light, and in His Grace; and in His mercy. I finally found love, I found a husband, I had babies and I belonged to the greatest ‘Man’ who ever walked the planet. He wanted me, He thought it was important enough for me to be born and to walk this earth.

Deut 28:1
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
I used to be eclectic: to open too many things, to uneducated in the things that mattered. When I see the promise that YHWH (God) made in Deut 28:1 I am over joyed… But who is this YHWH (God). Florence and the Machine has a song and one of the lyrics says very clearly “And every demon wants his pound of flesh”…. That’s one of the truest statements. Some churches, groups of friends, some clubs etc could be after your soul and when you are in a vulnerable state you can be taken advantage of. So today I am going to write a little bit about my Saviour Y’shua (Jesus) the Messiah. Just a few key characteristics that can help you to know when it’s YHWH (God) or something else giving you a helpline when you find yourself in quicksand.
1) Unconditional love
Rom 8:37-39
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord
YHWH’s (God’s) love is so unconditional that we as mere humans cannot even begin to understand how generous and amazing He really is. There is nothing that you have done or could ever do that will make YHWH (God) hate you. You are here because He loved you. I read this beautiful passage from Paul this morning about Elohim (Trinity) that gets to decide what goes into the pot. We are made from dust it says and I thought wow, He really picked us, our natures and if we pick Him he will nourish our talents.
There is no ego in this love. Ego runs so many aspects of our lives and I remember a phase where people were trying to promote egoism as a positive attribute. The truth is, the more you let go of your ego, and man-made pride, the more humble you become, the less the ego even matters, and the closer you get to piece. For YHWH (God) clearly says humble yourself. Humbleness brings you closer to happiness. When you step off the self-inflated pedestal, and humbly and lovingly walk amongst others like yourself, you can touch so many more lives, and so many more can touch your life.

2) Integrity
I remember those days where I desperately tried to reach out to people to tell me about Y’shua (Jesus), but often it would not really match up with what I read in the bible.
I prayed, and I asked YHWH (God) to show me His way (not my parents, not my pastor, not the church) His way…. This became so crucial because I learned that YHWH (God) had integrity. If He said he would do something, He did it! His love in the New Testament was the same in the Old Testament. He loved the Israelites in the Old Testament, He loved them in the New Testament. He loved the gentiles in the OT and he loved the gentiles in the NT. He had certain expectations of His people in the OT and He has the same expectation of these people in the NT.
All my life I believed that God changed from the OT to the NT but He didn’t’. He stayed exactly the same! There is so much consistency and integrity in the entire Word, which eventually became flesh!
He has integrity! When He makes a promise, He will keep it!

3) Free Will
When I started reading up on the Hebrews (Jews) to establish how they approach the Old Testament (TaNaCh) I was actually amazed that their approach to bible was very different from the way that we were taught growing up.
They believe that the Old Testament is a teaching! I want you to compare the following situation regarding feeding a child:
1) The mom becomes frustrated and tries to force feed her child. Even though this gesture may be filled with love, can you imagine what the child’s automatic response to this action will be? He will resist and fight!
2) The mother starts telling the child what the impact of the food will be: “this will make you strong and healthy; your eyesight will be good; your teeth will be healthy; you will become very strong! There’s a lovely reward at the end of this! This may entice the child to try and experiment a bit more. We all, even young children, want a choice.
When I grew up the Old Testament (TaNaCh) was this unachievable set of laws that really didn’t make sense. Our churches just picked the main ones (if any) that they wanted to keep and the rest, without even the slightest considerations, were chucked away. We were led to believe that YWHW (God) was unreasonable and that when Y’shua (Jesus) came it was free for all. He broke the chains of suppression.

But this was never the case. Y’shua, himself, says that He is the Word manifested into life. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth
YHWH’s (God’s) nature has always been for us to have freewill. If He was a dictator, He would have designed us to be robots and to follow every commandment brainlessly. Our YHWH (God) gave us a brain to use as we choose.
However, He wanted us to get close to Him and to walk in His way. So, he gave us His Word (the Bible), not as a whip, but as a toolbox that we can use to get closer to Him. People are naturally selfish, but the Word (the whole Bible) teaches us how to let go of our own selfishness so that we can have a more whole and complete relationship with YHWH (God). It also gives us prophesies and many more things.
God hates forcing things on people. It is the only religion that strongly disapproves of things such as r**e. Did you know that twice not just the ra**st, but also other men in his family or group was murdered because of the disgusting act of ra**ng! (I am not saying that the Lord condoned those murders but in our law he clearly states that ra**st should be put to death). YHWH (God) gave you free will and He expects you to Love him first, and lucky for us there is so much information in the Bible as to how He would like for us to love him. These commandments/ teachings are a reflection of Him. I keep them not because its forced on me, but because its my way to get a more in-depth understanding of my Maker!

4. Equality
Moshe (Moses) lead hundreds of thousands of people out of slavery in Egypt (of all colours); Jonah was swallowed by a fish; Elijah brought the dead back to life. These were amazing people that accomplished so much, and yet, YHWH (God) loves you just as much as He loves them. If you are in a ditch, with needles poking out of your arm and unable to help yourself as you slip further away into addiction, YHWH (God) is right there waiting for you to make a different choice. He never stops loving you and He loves you as much as He loved His prophets. He loved you so much that He sent his only Son to be tortured and murdered so that we may have eternal life if we so choose (accepting Y’shua as his Son and our Saviour).

YHWH (God) is truly colour blind, one day you will stand in front of Him and you will give an account on your actions and you will be judged on your actions. Nothing else matters to Him. There is this trend that people do not have to take accountability for their actions as they were born a certain way. You may get away with horrendous crimes on earth, but you will be held accountable for your actions when you meet YHWH (God). For we are all treated the same and no one will have preferential treatment.

These things may seem self-explanatory to you, but there are people we love, that are trapped in very dangerous situations, because they have failed to see the Character of our YHWH (God).

1) They go to communities that do not hold to the integrity of the entire Bible. Where pastors are okay with bending the Word because they don’t know how, or feel uncomfortable to tell the truth.
2) There are people that get caught up in occults where they or their children are exploited for someone’s gratification.
3) There are people that judge you when you walk in the door… That honour belongs to YHWH (God) not to your pastor.
4) When you hate other people because they are different from you, and your organization encourages that they are elite or exalted, you may be in trouble. For a Pastor or a leader will always humble themselves. They even work harder than the congregation as was the case in the biblical days when the Cohen had to slaughter animals etc.
5) When you feel that you are better than any other human being because you have a special connection with YHWH (God) you should also re-assess.
6) When you are frequently interacting with demons or in places were you feel very uncomfortable, run away.
7) When “things speak” to you, and encourage you to go against the Word in any way you know that it is not your Shephard’s voice.
8) If the pastor shames you, or other brothers and sisters, run! Its all ego. Run! Be safe.

When you look at the horizon, what do you see? Do you see a straight line from one end to the other? Or do you see the sun smiling behind scattered clouds? Do you see an ocean and marvel at the mysteries that lie deep inside it? Do you see vast landscapes coloured in green with scattered patches of red sand?
When you think of YHWH (God), do you see a straight line, or do you see the pattern that forms itself in His glorious creation? Elohim (Trinity) is not just a straight line, he is everything above and below, everything beyond, He is ‘depth’, and He is ‘close’.
So too, His Word is a beautiful pattern: a repetition of his ultimate plan that threads through Adam, Noah, Avraham and the descendants in between; the descendants that followed. When we understand that, we can more clearly understand His glory, grace, precision, and love. This thread can be seen in Adam and is in full bloom in the crucifixion of our Messiah.
Passover to us, as believers, is the most precious week in our belief system. This is the week that represents YHWH (God) saving His bride (the Israelites) from Egypt; this week represents the week that our Messiah (Y’shua) shed his blood so that He could save his bride (the Church).
This article is one of the many reasons why I humble myself before Elohim (Trinity). I want to demonstrate his wonder to you so that you may better understand the greatness of His plan. The event of our Messiah on the cross is the fulfilment of a prophesy that has presented itself in various forms, on very many pages of the bible.
The Israelites (Jews) have done a marvellous job in record keeping. The month of Nissan (in the bible it is referred to as Aviv and in the Western World it is known as March/ April period) is a great reminder of the countless blessings and mercies the Lord has bestowed upon us:
1) Noah and his family are saved from the great flood and the ark rests on mount Ararat.
2) Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (the grandfather, father and son) died in different years on the same day in Nissan.
3) Yoshua (Joshua) sends 2 spies to Jericho and conquers the town.
4) The beautiful queen Esther has to go to the king (her husband) without permission to try and rescue her people from the brutal decree that Hamman declared upon God’s people the Israelites (Jews)
5) The second temple is inaugurated.

These events are special and miraculous in its own right, but it is not why we celebrate Passover.
The main reason why YHWH (God) instituted this Holy Day started in Egypt about 1456 years before the Messiah was crucified. The Egyptians treated the Israelites very badly and made slaves out of them. We see these dreadful events of modern day slaves that are worked to death but in Pharoah’s day the slaves were treated even worse. Through Moshe (Moses), the Lord (Adonai) construed a great plan to rescue His people, the Israelites (Jews), from the brutalities they have grown to know.
Eventually after a lot of failed, civilised, negotiations with Pharoah the Lord instructed Moshe (Moses) to inform his people to put blood (from slaughtered lambs) on the doorposts. The firstborn sons are dedicated to YHWH (God) and this was to keep the Israeli firstborn boys safe in the land of Egypt whilst the Lord (Adonai) took all the firstborn sons that evening. Once Pharoah gave permission for them to leave they crossed through ocean into the land of Canaan and Adonai (the Lord) instructed them to keep the Holy Feasts. Passover represents the blood of the lambs and will eventually represent the Blood of the ultimate Lamb, Y’shua (Jesus).

It is the year that the Messiah is about to be crucified, and his bride (gentiles) are enslaved in sin. Without even asking the Lord to set us free He sends his own Lamb. A lamb that is without blemish or fault. If you do not read anything else, I pray that you look at the pictures that are attached because that draws the parallels and time frames of the Exodus vs the Passover traditional celebrations by the Israelites (Jews) and the crucifixion of our Lord and Saviour.
Just think about this, He sets out a procedure for the Israelites (Jews) +/- 1500 BCE on how to kill a Lamb in a specific way. King David writes Psalm 22 that describes the crucifixion in detail. Then he takes a nation that has never worshiped Elohim (Trinity), the Romans, and they crucify the Messiah in practically the exact same way as YHWH (God) instructed Israel (Jews) to slaughter their lamb. Not just the process was the same but the exact hour!!! When the Jews slaughter the first lamb the Messiah was put on the cross. The priests were not allowed to sit down for 6 hours whilst they were slaughtering the lamb, the Messiah was posted on the cross standing for 6 hours.
Make God as BIG as HE is!!! Think, reflect, respect, honour and listen to His Word because there is meaning and depth in it that far escapes our comprehension!

Why Passover…
1) God instructed us to celebrate this!
2) It reminds us how God listens to us and reaches out when we call on Him – The Exodus
3) Abraham was tested first to see if he would sacrifice his son; then the Israelites (Jews) were all put in a position where their trust and yielding to God’s voice saved their children. Ultimately, YHWH (God) gave his only son to be crucified so that we may have eternal life through those who acknowledge him as our Lord and Saviour.

I pray that His blood can open the eyes of many in this coming week. I pray that we are able to repent (to humble ourselves and to say sorry) and that we (as His Sheep) can really hear our Sheppard’s voice John 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
God tells us to keep His Holy feasts forever, not just in our lifetime but even after Armageddon. He says that we will celebrate these feasts with Him in Heaven. Often, we do not hear our Sheppard’s voice: we exalt ourselves above the Bible and follow tradition blindly and in doing so, REBEL against Him. Blindly, without asking a single question or studying his Word diligently, a decision is made to just do what others are doing and outright rejecting His voice. If your birthday is on 15 Mar but I tell everyone that we should celebrate your birthday on the 23 Apr you are bound to be a little upset. You may have sent invites for 15 Mar already. Yet when it comes to this God that we are so passionate about, we completely disregarded and disrespected Him by not showing up to His party, but instead attending our own party. If you cannot adhere to his written Word, which is a beautiful map to get to know Him, then how are you going to experience His voice in your heart. Finding truth is not that difficult, he gave us an entire Bible to lead us to Him. He gave this to us out of love...
A sheep listens to his Sheppard because the sheep knows that the Sheppard will keep them safe.

The language of love
“Speak to me in Your mother tongue, reveal to me your Word. You, my Saviour, have given me the most beautiful poem, the most fascinating love story. How do I even begin to put in writing, what You have placed in my heart! I love you Adonai (my Lord)!”
Lets take a second to reflect on not just the Bible but the method in which the Lord chose to deliver his message. When Moshe (Moses) wrote the Torah (the first five books of the bible: Genesis; Exodus; Leviticus; Numbers; Deuteronomy) it was written originally in Hebrew. He specifically used pictography to illustrate YHWH’s ‘map’ for us as believers to have a lasting relationship with our God. Over time the Hebrew alphabet became more sophisticated but from the first day the Hebrew language was already advanced and ‘multi-layered’. God always works in multiple dimensions and layers. His ways are far beyond what we can ever understand and the complexity as well as depth is astonishing. The Hebrew alphabet has four main aspects: firstly, every letter has a symbol; secondly, every letter has a meaning; thirdly, every letter has sound; lastly, every letter has a number. By utilising the strengths of these various aspects of the letters, one can easily attain a deeper, richer understanding of the Word.
Let’s use the word Elohim as an example to illustrate.
Gen 1:1
See picture one for Hebrew scripture
Elohim means gods. It is the plural of El which means God. So just from the Hebrew scriptures we can see that in the beginning it was not just God the Father who created. Now let’s take a deeper look by using pictography to help us gain a deeper insight into scripture.
See Picture 2 for pictography
When David wrote Psalm 23: The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
he was only elaborating on what every Hebrew scholar knew from the first time Elohim was used in Gen 1:1.
Symbolism becomes vitally important in understanding scripture better, but it can be lifesaver when you venture off onto more dangerous paths. I recently did a study regarding some other gods from other believe systems. Ironically, the snake symbol, which we closely relate to Satan, can be found in very many other gods in other religions. These ‘snake’ gods are often destructive, cunning and tries to change things from what it was.
If we had to take the same example as used above regarding Elohim and apply the meaning of every letter we will get the following:
See picture 3 for pictograhpy
When you look at the meaning of the word you can clearly see it refers to the Trinity itself:
Creator is God the Father
Spirit of YHWH (which is really the Ruach Hakodesh – Holy spirit)
Heb 10:12 He went back to Heaven and sits on the right hand of God. The Hebrew letter Vaw means right hand of YHWH (Y’shua (Jesus) sat next to God when he returned to heaven).
A telling part of this is that God is a teacher and he wants us to learn from Him. He is not a dictator. He also wants us to learn so that He can reveal more to us.
We can now say that Elohim is not just a word anymore! Elohim describes God; Elohim describes all His aspects; and Elohim gives us insight into his nature, where our Sheppard takes us by the hand and leads us to peace; and Elohim is the most patient and loving teacher. He gave us a very big ‘textbook’ (bible) to study.
I will get into the sound (of creation and words) later in another article, but just take a minute to reflect on sound. We know that our Lord spoke everything into existence and that he continuously speaks into our hearts. Therefore, sound is important to him and to us. He chose to write a big portion of His Holy book in Hebrew and truly it can only enrich our lives to try and get a deeper understanding into his preferred language.

The last aspect I will touch on in this article is something called Gematria. Wikipedia Def - Gematria (/ɡəˈmeɪtriə/; Hebrew: גמטריא‎ or gimatria גימטריה, plural גמטראות or גימטריאות, gimatriot)[1] is an alphanumeric code of assigning a numerical value to a name, word or phrase based on its letters. A single word can yield multiple values depending on the cipher used.
Gematria is a Hebrew alphanumeric code or cipher that was probably used in biblical times and was later adopted by other cultures. It is still widely used in Jewish culture. Similar systems have been used in other languages and cultures: the Greeks isopsephy

Once you study Gematria you realise that our Heavenly Father did not just managed to assist Prophets to write the entire bible over several hundred years, but he did it in such a way that it adds up numerically. This makes the Hebrew bible incredibly accurate. Now you may think that the Bible was not just written in Hebrew. You are correct, it was not. It was translated into Greek as well. Satan wanted to stamp out Hebrew and had a huge onslaught on God’s people. He thought by diluting the Hebrew language the children of Israel would be unable to grasp the full meaning of the Word. The Greeks became a force to reckon with and the Greek language became the preferred language to speak in many countries. Eventually the Jewish children spoke Greek and several Rabbi’s decided to translate their Bible (our Old Testament) into Greek. The New Testament was also written in Greek.
Greek is also a multi-dimensional language and Gematria can be applied to Greek… Guess what, it still adds up in Greek! Just take a second to allow for this to sink in. This book could not have been written by mere mortals; it could only have been inspired by a Creator that is outside of time and that is far more intelligent than ourselves! Gematria excludes the possibility that everything is here by chance or some process of evolution as it is mathematically improbable (impossible) to do this with one language… but to do this with two languages.
Satan tried to corrupt this phenomenon by introducing his own system, Kabbalah. It is not the same as Gematria and we should always do our research properly when studying these matters. John 10:10 warns us that the enemy comes to kill and steal and he does that by stealing away our deeper understanding of scripture and by infusing lies and deceit in fake systems.
English is a mere translation of Greek scriptures and in more modern times we have been blessed to have scriptures translated from Hebrew as well. But it is still only a translation and so much is lost. My Hebrew is dreadful, I won’t be able to buy water in Israel, but I still dedicate myself to try and learn, to understand more. Because the hidden gems on the treasure map of His Holy book is worth exploring.
I pray that you have a wonderful day and week ahead and that you found this article to be enriching.
