Seek and you shall find
Seek and find the truth of the word of God, seek and find the truth of the world. Seek and find who you were meant to be!
God our Redeemer is faithful and His promises are true.
In Genesis chapter 3 we read that God promised that a savior would come through the seed of the woman. Now we read in chapter 4 that the woman had two sons, Cain and later Abel. We also read that Cain cultivated the ground and that Abel was a shepherd. It must have been wonderful for Adam and Eve to see the beginning of the promise of God (Genesis 3:15), but we then read that when Cain and Able gave gifts to God, Cain gave some of his crops while Able gave the best portions of the firstborn lambs from his flock. The Lord accepted the gift from Abel but not the one from Cain. That made Cain very angry, but God did not leave him alone in his anger for God talked to him and gave him explanations and even warned about what is to come if he keeps going on with this, God also provided a way out for him but he did not listen.
We all know how the story goes, Cain ends up killing his brother Abel, how hard must this have been for Adam and Eve. For now, they have lost both sons, one is dead and one left the presence of the Lord. What remains of the promise that God made? Did it end just like that? Did Satan manage to destroy the perfect plan of God?
No! For the promises of the Lord is true and He shall fulfill them and we can see this in verses 25 and 26. Adam and Eve had another son named Seth and Seth grew up and had a son named Enosh and at that time people first began to worship the Lord by name. God remains true to His promises and He will fulfill them, now we have a people no matter how small who now worship the Lord by name. The promise of God stands firm, no wind or earthquake can make it move! No matter what may happen or how dark things might get, God, our Redeemer is faithful and true and He will not abandon those who hope upon Him and trust in His word.
May God bless you all and keep you all.
In Jesus, there is life and life in abundance.
In Jesus we can find life, He came to give us life in abundance, sometimes we may even start to realize that we are not truly living. Well, my friend, I have good news for you today, Jesus is life, He can give our life a brand new meaning. It is for a reason that the bible tells us that the life He gives is a light to all mankind.
Though the world that we live in is corrupt fallen and dark, the light of Jesus Christ cannot be overcome by this darkness. Jesus came to free us from the sin that promised joy and life but instead steals our life, He came to restore what has been deformed, He came to revive what has been dead, He came to find what has been lost, He came to fix what has been broken.
Each and every one of us was dead and lost, but now we have hope, God looked upon our helpless state. Jesus came and took our place and died and bled on the cross for us, we did not deserve not even to gaze upon Him but now He is nailed to the cross in our stead. He bore the wrath reserved for us, and we can see God's wonderous love displayed for us. Jesus is our life! For all who place their faith in Him and accept Him, He gave the right to now be sons of God.
God is our redeemer.
In this chapter, we can read about the fall of humanity, in this dark and hopeless moment filled with insecurity and fear God promised us a savior. We can see this in verse 15. In our darkest moment, God already provided a way for us. The single most important thing in our life has been taken care of before we even knew it, our redemption has been taken care of! This is a great cause for our rejoicing. Jesus is our redeemer and He has kept His promise throughout time and today we are waiting for our faithful redeemer to return. If God has remained faithful throughout all this time and has not forgotten a single one of His promises and took care of our biggest need, which is Him, why don't we give our troubles and mistakes and fear to Him? One look at the cross and we see the proof of His love and commitment to fulfill His promise to redeem us. There nothing is in our lives that our Redeemer cannot handle, He is loving and patient, power has its foundation in God. For Jesus conquered our sins and defeated death our greatest fou is now under His feet, let us give Him our lives no matter how it is for He is faithful and just and abounding in love.
You are being renewed.
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation and we are called to put on this new man, and throw the old one away. Jesus renews us to be more like Him as we get to know Him through His words and also in our daily lives. It might get hard sometimes, we will face problems, we will be rejected, we will face temptations, we will face difficulty, we will feel lonely, misunderstood. But let us remember that Jesus went through all of these things and more, He was not exempt from these things. Therefore the Bible tells us that we do not have a high priest who is not able to empathize with us but we have one who was tempted in every way and yet did not sin. Our savior is our strength, He overcame this world so through Him we can face these trials and as we are in them we will learn to know our Creator and He is faithful to renew our character, our way of thinking, our way of speaking, and our life. May God bless you all.
Greetings, may God bless you all.
In Genesis chapter 2 we can see that God is our creator and also our provider. God created the heavens and the earth and all in them, He provided for every need that we might have, and He made sure to give them to us. But God also knows that our biggest need is the need of Him, we were not made to live apart from Him.
God is our true need, there is a need for Him in our lives that only He can fulfill, the need to give your all to something or someone, the need to be loved unconditionally, the need to be secure, the need to be at peace, the need for a purpose in life, the need to be cared for, and the list goes on. Only God can fill and provide for all those needs.
God is our provider, He is a faithful father who did not spare any good gifts for us, He gave us everything nothing did He keep from us.
May God bless you all. 😊
Is there any other god that we can hold unto like a rock other than the Lord?
No there is none!
Jesus is forever our portion there is none like Him, to Him, we can hold unto like a rock. Though we may face many toils and snares one thing is sure Christ is our sure and steady rock and our portion. He is the portion that can never be taken away from us, Jesus told us from beforehand that we will have trouble in this world but we are not forsaken. Let us take heart in our Lord Jesus Christ for He has overcome the world, our peace is with Him and comes through Him. Let us pray for those who now are facing various hardships.
May God bless you all and keep you all.
Seek and you shall find introduces "Weekly Promises".
Have you ever made a promise to someone? Maybe a friend or a loved one? Do you still remember the moment or the reason why you did that?
The bible is filled with a lot of promises, they are beautiful and extraordinary. Most importantly they reveal the character of God to us; love, justice, faithfulness, mercy, grace, peace, and more. These promises far surpass what we can promise to one another.
The reason behind this initiative is, that we might see the characteristics of God through the promises that He made. But make no mistake, so that we can truly know God, we must live His words through Jesus Christ, through Him these promises find their true worth!
Each week we will be sharing a new promise, starting from the book of Genesis. You can find each promise and a small devotional in the posts, you can also find the promise in the highlights. We will be posting 1 promise in the middle of the week each week.
If there is any feedback we would love to hear them, may God bless you all. And we hope that this will be a blessing to you all.
We spend our days on this earth chasing various things, we live in a world that validates us on the things that we own, the external things. Our house, titles, possessions, job, to name a few, are what we are judged on. We build our lives upon all that the world has to offer and we will later find that it is like building our house on sand. Like sand, these things are ever-changing and will end up leaving us empty and damaged. We can then fall into a never-ending cycle of trying to fix what keeps on breaking.
What if I tell you that there is hope for us still? This is our hope, that God sent His Son to die in our stead, to pay the price for our sin to allow us to be truly free. Jesus could have judged us on how we are but did not, but who did judge us? The world. But Jesus calls us not to be of the world, but to be His!
Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart, you need not clean your heart on your own or fix yourself for Him. He calls out to you to come like you are, for it is for that reason He died. He died to make us clean and to transform us. He is willing to do that work in our lives no matter how messed up it can be He is not afraid of it.
So then, what can be more precious than knowing Christ? He does not need our titles, our wealth, our jobs, our cars, our homes to find worth in us. He calls us to come to Him just like we are, He is the one who will give our lives true meaning, through Him we have no guilt in life, no power of hell can ever pluck us from His hands.
Come taste and see how good and awesome God is. He invites each and every one of us to embark on this road of faith, let us then experience how precious Jesus really is, let us taste for ourselves and see.
May God bless you all.
------
Screaming out from the deep.
Your souls scream out of the deep your problems seem like a behemoth of a mountain standing strong, tall, and proud over you. Your afflictions come down like water in a thunderstorm there is now no distinction between them and your tears. The thunder is so loud it ruptures your eardrums, sorrow is your pillow and pains your blanket, your life the cave you sleep in.
Even if it is hard look up, take that step of faith, and look up! Lift your eyes up to the mountain and ask yourself where your help comes from. Your help comes from The Lord the maker of heaven and earth. He is the creator of everything, there is nothing He cannot do. God is who He is no matter where you are, in that thunderstorm God is still God, look up yes past that mountain and past those clouds, past that dark sky. The Lord is high and exalted above all of them!
What are you waiting for? Go to Him, do not wait for tomorrow or later. Go now and experience God for yourself, while He can still be found. He will turn all of these into blessings in disguise.

The peace which God gives far surpasses all we have previously known. His words are like a refreshing drink of water after a hard-working day. We often carry so much weight on our shoulders, neglecting the voice of God offering us comfort. In Him, we can find true rest.
We often see people sharing the word of God, do we ever stand still and ask ourselves, what value are these words? It has certainly impacted a lot of people's lives. We should not take these words for granted, for they are filled with the love and grace of God. There will come a time where people will thirst for these words but will not find them.
What God offers us no man can replicate, God is the only one able to comfort us in all our troubles, though they are many we may have peace in the middle of the storm. A Christian is not exempt from troubles, we are promised trouble. But the reason we can have peace in all those storms of trouble is because of the One who comforts us. God is our comforter!
The word of God is filled with wisdom and love, it shows us the way to Him for they are a light unto our feet, it comforts us in times of trouble, gives us strength, corrects us, etc. The perfect example of this was our Lord and God Himself. Jesus went through so much pain and trouble but He was connected to the Father, He showed us by example how we should live. There were times where Jesus was in serious agony, but the Father comforted Him. We could also have a life like that, Jesus made the way for us.
Let us then approach God to receive what we do not have and that way we could give to others. For how can we comfort others if we ourselves lack it?
God bless you all❤❤
