Each gift box contains a scented soy wax candle, hand balm, lip balm and small cold process soap. All are made using natural ingredients. Balms and soap are made with our Te Pahu Olive Oil.

The hand balm is a lovely rich, all natural balm that is great for gardeners and especially last thing at night. I have Lavender hand balm, Vanilla and an unscented balm.

The lip balm is vanilla and honey flavoured. Its tasty and really moisturising.

The soap smells fabulous, scented with lavender oil and with calendula and lavender flowers.

The candles come in a variety of fragrances and the Christmas gift box has a Myrrh and Frankincense scent.

These cards have been printed from photographs I have taken. Most are local birds captured here in Te Pahu, Pirongia Forest, Sanctuary Mountain and Lake Ngaroto. The images of the endangered New Zealand Dotterel, Tuturiwhatu were taken at Ohiwa Beach.

Welcome to my page! I have been crafting at home and was planning on attending a few local craft markets in the run up to Christmas. But Covid 19 had other plans! Te Awamutu Craft Fair decided to run a virtual craft market, so here are some of my offerings.

Most my crafts are based on the philosophy of upcycling, recycling and using homemade produce.

I have used our olive oil to make beeswax wraps, lip balms, hand balms and soap and dried herbs from our garden to add to soaps.

I have painted and upcycled some small pieces of furniture and bits & bobs from local op shops.

I have also decided to rescue some classic books. Often discarded and unwanted in op shops I have tried to make these tatty old classics more appealing by covering them in fabric. Might give them a few more years and why buy new when the story is exactly the same!

I have also upcycled some regular hardback notebooks. Using up fabric and having a bit of fun, they are all one-offs and after all you can't have too many notebooks.

For those of you who follow my photography, I have also printed up some of my nature photos into greeting cards.

This page was hastily put together and more stock and better quality photos will be added as I go along!
