Small ways to start:
Forgive yourself over and over again,
Talk kindly to yourself,
Smile and talk to at a stranger,
Give a compliment,
Be a good listener

Life is fu***ng hard. We all just figuring it out as we go.  Often, It's not going to go as planned, but that also makes it exciting.  Trust that things are happening for a reason and you are right where you need to be, even if it doesn't feel like it.  One day you'll look back and see how far you've come, how much you've grown.  But remember, when you need to rest, it’s ok. When you need to cry, it’s ok. When you need to change directions, it's ok. It's all part of your growth. It's all part of the plan. Sending so much love.... you've got this! ❤️

Sometimes, it takes really sitting with your feelings until your heart accepts what your mind already knows.   And you realize that you, somehow, lost yourself along the way.  You realize you need your peace back.  And the only way to get it back is to love yourself SO fu***ng hard... harder than ever... because it's truly the most important thing you could ever do! Its absolutely necessary and you're worth it! Life can tear you down, but you can build yourself back up stronger! Classes this month will focus on self love,  finding balance and inner strength,  and tapping into the answers within you. Together, we can restore our clarity and inner peace! 💖☮️🧘‍♀️

There's still some time to sign up for my 10-week session! Here is my email for this first week as an example of our collective intention and theme. 🙏💖

Welcome to the winter session!

It’s the new year and a fresh start!  We often get the urge to set lots of new goals, however this really goes against nature. Like nature, we need to rest and restore, and when we slow down and get quieter, we can really listen to our inner wisdom. Sometimes what’s most valuable is finding an awareness of what isn't working …maybe we actually need to take stuff away instead of adding to it!  For example, maybe we need to simplify our homes or our schedule. Or maybe we’ve been allowing others to take our energy and steal our peace, and we need to take our power back. Consider whatever you need to let go of so that you can become a better version of yourself. So our collective intention for January will be letting go of the old and letting in the new…whatever that means to you.

I invite you to set either a word, a mantra, or a color that represents your intention for the year ahead. For example, my color for this year is RED to represent my desire to improve both my physical strength and self-compassion and self-love.

We're motivated by the fresh start of the new year and we want to set all these new goals, but sometimes it's even more valuable to figure out what's working and what's not. Maybe it will serve you better to start by scaling back on what or who isn't serving your highest good. Once we clear these things away, we create more space, energy, and focus to make those goals more attainable. ✨️💓✨️

❄️ Happy Winter Solstice ❄️
Be gentle with yourself during the holidays and remember that just like nature, it's a time to get quiet, turn inward, and conserve our energy. Reflect on what or who in your life is serving you and what/who isn't. How do you want to feel? What will allow you to feel that way? Write down your goals and small immediate steps you can take towards them. Allow yourself to rest without the guilt. Take in some silence and meditation. have your journal next to you because that is when the answers reveal themselves. All the answers are within you. 🕊☮️💖 And slowly, the light will be returning! 🌅

How are you going to show up for yourself in the new year? Yoga isn't about perfection or even the pose! it's about connecting to your body and mind and discovering that inside you is your greatest teacher. And with consistency, you'll find that what you need has always been inside you. Join me for a 10-week session.

We didn't cause our wounds, but we're responsible for our own healing.  And whether we like it or not, our wounds, our pain are our greatest spiritual teachers.  I've worked through some of my own inner child wounds recently when witnessing my own reaction to certain relationships in my life. It's not easy, but once you do find the awareness of where your feelings are truly stemming from, you can start on the healing path.  You may slip, you may struggle, and you may repeat the same patterns over and over, but that's how you finally learn the lesson.  Let the thoughts and feelings arise and be easy with yourself, and give yourself grace as you go through your journey.  ✨️ ❤️🙏

FULL MOON GONG!
Kundalini yoga, meditation, gong, and yogi tea! There was so much healing spiritual energy shared in this beautiful space. Plus, we had an amazing time meeting Dharam and trying out the gongs and singing bowls. 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️🙏

This Saturday October 28 is the FULL HUNTER's MOON with a PARTIAL LUNAR ECLIPSE. This can be a really powerful time for spiritual growth and transformation. According to the Farmer's Almanac, "astrologically, lunar eclipses are believed to be three times more emotional, intense, and powerful than full Moons. While a normal full Moon can still bring endings or culminations, lunar eclipses often trigger major milestones or life changes that we remember forever. They ramp up the power of a full Moon to full speed and can trigger crisis events that expose deep secrets, fears, or news. On a positive note, they can mark meaningful breakthroughs or victories, but on a more somber note, they can create dramatic breakdowns or separations. Lunar eclipses often reveal their biggest news on the day that they occur but can still deliver revelations not only the week that surrounds them but also an entire month before or after! This is why we call it “eclipse season.” So, remember to be gentle with yourself. Use these mantras and cleansing prayers to help ground you as you experience these stimulations and emotions. Peace and Love to YOU! ❤️✌️🕉

I love that I captured this little leaf's descent to the earth. 🍂🍁  Spending time in nature can be so healing as it teaches us so much without a sound. This is the season where she reminds us that we must let go in order to allow for new growth and transformation, but most importantly, to find peace within ourselves.  We can get so caught up in the thought patterns of our mind that we forget to live our lives in the moment. Often, it's our own mind that creates our suffering. The Buddha said we suffer because we want life to be different from what it is. We try to make pleasurable what is painful, to make solid what is fluid, to make permanent what is changing. It may be one of the most difficult things to do, but when we can become mindfully aware of what thoughts are creating our suffering, that's a step in loosening our grip and letting go. It does not mean erasing a memory or ignoring the past. "It is when you're no longer reacting to the things that used to make you feel tense and releasing the energy attached to certain thoughts.  It takes self-awareness, intentional action, practice, and time.  Letting go is the act of getting to know yourself so deeply that all delusions fall away."

Fear is just a product of your thoughts. Practice gratitude and flip the script from "I have to" to "I get to."
