As someone who deeply appreciates the single line a-lil-rough-around-the-edges doodle style, it is easy for me to be critical of myself for all the wrong reasons. (Not being good enough or "as good" as others.) Getting to work on the two pieces of art below, commissioned by one of the coolest people I've ever gotten to call a pal, has really boosted my confidence!

Yesterday I was planning to upload these to my Etsy but I couldn’t find my laptop charger… Of course the slightest bit o’ negative self talk crept in trying to warn me I wasn’t trying hard enough. I’ve been working on recognizing this as a habit to change. It’s been getting easier and easier to shut down… I do not have to give intrusive thoughts my time or even identify with them! There are times to be efficient with your action, but no rush is needed in divine timing…. I believe that is the trickster energy that takes us out of flow.

I attempted transmuting all of that negative talk into positive action on my Sell On Etsy app. Why not try and list them on my phone…? Once opening the app and going through all those fun little questions about my product I remembered exactly why I never have listed on my phone...

The app decides not to let me choose any photographs… Getting a little frustrated I didn’t have the energy at that point to understand why….?

My sweetie was going to be home soon and that was one of the longer days we went without seeing one another in awhile. I didn’t want any work to take me away from sharing some space, smoke, and all the kisses I can get hahahah. I eventually gave up and surrendered to trying the next day. (Today)

I’m glad I chose that. My mind tried to “warn” me of my ~”little”~ efforts.. but I was not having it..

My efforts were valid and True. 💚 I had a very productive day off from the Deli, ate well, cleaned, extended lots of love to my kitties, and got caught up on orders and other things. (That are being labeled and sent out around 1!)

As I lay and reflect on this I am realizing… did I even ever give the Sell on Etsy permission to see my photographs to begin with? Maybe that was it… 🤦🏻‍♀️🧠
