Not eating animals is my favorite thing in the world. I love not eating animals so much.
Got organic pancake mix at discount store, made waffles with soymilk & applesauce instead of breastmilk & hawk eggs. Topped with strawberries, homegrown black walnuts, whipcream and maple syrup.
Tofu scramble with wild ramps, asparagus, red onion and cheese made from plants instead of the breastmilk of cows, cats or rats.
Sooooo gooooood!
Homegrown hand harvest black walnuts from our yard.
Not widely used like english walnuts because black walnuts are much harder to harvest. But omg, what a delicacy! Known as "Truffle of nuts". The meat has a deep earthy rich flavor.
75% higher in protein than english walnuts, good source of omega 3, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium.
Excellent food storage as they apparently last indefinitely. Great thing to reuse mesh produce bags for. 💚
