Friday Payday from my students. This is why I do what I do.

Hi everyone! I just returned from 9 days in the beautiful country of Bolivia. This is a picture of our lunch setup at Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world.

This is one of many trips that would not have been possible before I started investing in the stock market. I never had enough vacation time or the money to make such trips happen.

The price of Apple shares has increased 161% in the past two years and 303% in the past three years!

When looking for company to invest in, look for a company that is best-in-breed. A company whose products you like may not necessarily be a good company to own shares in.

Some very basic questions to ask before buying shares in a company...

👉🏽What is the company all about? If I don't understand what a company does, I don't invest in it.

👉🏽How much money are they making? A lot of companies could still be losing millions of dollars with no real profit in sight.

👉🏽How has the stock performed over the past few years? Has the stock price been on a uptrend or is it trending down?

So, are you a DREAMER or are you a DOER?

Two years ago, the pandemic hit and changed life for all of us. Some of us lost jobs, some of us lost businesses and some of us lost our mental wellbeing.

Those who could worked at home under stressful conditions and essential workers kept working under extremely stressful conditions.

I was home with my two kids (one of whom has autism) and working as a nursing informatics specialist at a cancer hospital. It was chaos. I needed to make a change.

So I learned how to trade in the stock market and it has been transformational for me and others I am teaching.

The example above is a option trade I entered on Apple several days ago. It took a few clicks of a button on my phone to now have a profit of almost $3700.

What would an extra $3700 mean to you? Fewer shifts at the hospital? More dinners at home with your family? More time to sleep?

Most people do not want more money just for the sake of it. Most people want more FREEDOM. For me, it's not about designer bags and shoes. It's about freedom.

I was tired of faking sick days just to take a break or a long weekend. Freedom means more time to attend special education meetings at my daughters school, take break from this stressful life, and do the things I LOVE to do!
