New feature from Shanghai Alley. Freshly baked old fashioned bread using our in - house fermented rice wine as a starter. They're an excellent sweet little bread, with a soft interior, like a sweet roll but much better!

The Lantern Festival (元宵节 Yuánxiāo jié), which is celebrated on the full moon of the 15th day of the lunar calendar, will be celebrated this year on February 15. Many eat tangyuan汤圆', a glutinous rice ball, symbolizing togetherness, harmony, happiness and luck in the new year. We made our own fermented rice wine to feature our new cocktail ‘Snow Luxury’. 🥟 Dumpling/饺子/Jiǎozi is a classic lucky food for Lunar New Year, and a traditional dish eaten on Chinese New Year's Eve, widely popular in China, especially in North China. At Shanghai Alley, we have variety of house made dumplings. Five colors dumplings, chicken & mushroom dumplings, seafood dumplings, vegetable potstickers are just to name a few. The most traditional Chinese dumplings to be eaten on Lunar New year are cabbage & pork dumplings, those are little parcels of juicy ground pork and vegetables, wrapped in a supple, chewy dough made with just flour, salt and water.
